Biggest thing I saw that stands out on that page, is this:

Ford Mustang Mach-E ⚡️ 2022 F-150 Lightning EV pricing revealed, production doubled to 150K/yr, ordering begins 1/6/22 1641312934998

I was also sorely disappointed to see this.

I configured a Lariat the way I would order it so I could see the price: $80,034! If BBB passes in it’s current form, it’s $34 over the limit! ?

That is great news for F-150 Lightning buyers.

But this is even greater news for MME buyers.

According to Investors Business Daily, today, which opened this article talking about the Lightning, I noticed this nugget further down.

Investors have rewarded Ford stock for signs of early success in the bold shift away from gas and diesel vehicles. Despite the chip shortage, Ford is also tripling production for the recently launched Mustang Mach-E all-electric crossover. By 2023, it expects to build 200,000 units per year.

Ford announced X plan wasn't available quite a while back so that shouldn't be a surprise.
The tow and payload ratings are my main concern at the moment and the website doesn't have that info yet (not that I could find at least....). I would need at least 10k lbs towing and that pretty much forces the Extended Range battery. XLT with standard options but just the EX battery is around $65k.

Trying to see if I can order the Pro with extended battery with my fleet ID. That sounds like the best option for me. Not sure how that will work though.....my fleet rep says he is totally in the dark and doesn't see anything in his system yet. ???

Not sure how I missed the earlier x-plan announcement, but I did.

I also noticed the missing payload data. I priced mine with both towing packages. I don’t need the towing tech package, but that the only was I could see to get the integrated brake controller.
I went with the Lariat just to get the same electronics as my MME.

Highly unlikely IMO you will see a heavy duty payload package Lightning, and without that you won't be towing 10,000 pounds with a 1,300 pound tongue weight.

They have estimates in the presentation that was posted over on the Lightning Forum:

Keep in mind that every F-150 published towing capacity chart assumes a stripped vehicle. As you add option after option, the payload capacity drops. You literally cannot buy a normally equipped vehicle and get a payload that matches any chart.

I think I would want the trailer brake controller as well but don't really need the other stuff. If there is a trailer brake controller harness under the dash like other trucks then maybe that is fine. Kinda curious though because the integrated controller should account for extra regen where the aftermarket controllers would not.

The Jeep integrated controller isn't available for the 4xe because of this reason. Luckily, that vehicle only has a 2500 lb towing capacity anyway so brake controller isn't required in my state and the Max Regen button does a great job slowing everything down.

I have so many questions about the configurations that I am not even remotely close to ordering anything yet. ????

I have a reservation, a very late one, but still.........

Anyway, folks over on the Lightning forum are not at all happy about the final price based on the configurator. Lots of talk of bailing on their reservation over there.

I really didn't know what to expect for sure but I did guess about $80k for what I wanted and that's right about where it landed with a Lariat extended range with max tow and tow tech package.

I don't expect to have my number called anytime soon but my only dilemma would be whether to keep the Mach E or trade/sell it

If I keep the MME, we are a total EV family, if I get rid of it we are a 2 F150 family. 1 EV, 1 ICE............(first world problems, I know)

I played with the configurator a bit this morning...Sorta impossible to get the extended range battery without any extras and everything I came up with was close to ~$70k. Probably by design and even with the MME, Extended range is more popular anyways and this is a truck so most people will probably opt for that for towing.

I was just hoping for a lower cost "Vehicle to Grid" option, but guess not anytime soon.
