Last night, pulling up to a friends' house I noticed the odometer was at 29,999.x miles. I started watching the odometer, awaiting the magic number...

As it happened, the odo rolled over to 30 grand about 50 or so feet short of their house. Naturally I called my pal over and we both took pictures as I parked.

I bought the Mach E on 16 May 2022, thanks to a special order whose original buyer cancelled when the car showed up. That was about 45 weeks ago.

I had no idea / zero intent to accumulate 30k miles within the 1st year... and yet I did. Why: because the fun factor of this car compares, in my owner experience, only to the 1990 BMW 318i I bought with 7k on the odometer off an Army buddy when he got orders to move from Berlin, Germany to Hawaii. That BMW, the last of the "square" BMWs, was SO MUCH FUN to drive, we drove the wheels off of it all across Europe, then across the United States, years later again across Europe, and back to the U.S. until the engine blew up on me and my then teenage Sonny Boy one sunny day right in the neighborhood with 199,700+ miles on the odo.

So, 30k in 10 months because the Mach E is also a car that is SO MUCH FUN to drive. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it

Oh did I mention the (non) amount of gas I had bought in the past 30k miles? ;)

Oh God, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'll hit my one year on May 26th and I'm already over 14,000. I won't hit 30K but I'll still be above the average I think.

Meh, what can I say I like driving my car. Even after my electrical rates went through the roof. 😏 But hey, it's warming up and my efficiency is already improving and I can always look into solar. Life is good.

Ford Mustang Mach-E 30,000 miles in 45 weeks, to my own surprise :-D 30,000 miles on the odometer
Impressive. I have 36k+ miles, but I've had 15 months, so you are winning. Nice!

I received my MME 11 days before you and thought my mileage was high at 18K at 46 weeks, but you are clearly the winner!

I took delivery of my 22 Select on July 1st, 2022; as of December 20th, 2022, I had 16,700 miles on it. You might ask what happened on December 20th, 2022...well, we took delivery of our 23 premium MME and I started driving it while my wife is driving the 2022. No ICE vehicles in our stable now. From December 20th through today, the 2023 has rolled up 10,002 miles. I love to drive these cars lol.

I am averaging 2,600 miles a month on my 2021 premium. I love driving the car. I just went over the 50,000 mark and will probably be buying a new set of tires at the next rotation.

Impressive, most I think I did in a year was around 20k, but split between two vehicles. I've had the MME for 18 months now and I've done... 6k, need to work on that.

I am from NH too, I took delivery on May 17, 2022. I have 23k on my GT and I work from home. I completely agree it is just fun to drive. Now 5k of that was a trip my wife and I made from NH->KS->ND->NH in July. That was an interest journey. But my wife and I never drive her Ford Flex anymore.

It makes me jealous  I love to drive it, but don't drive enough.
Out of these 30K, what is your daily commute vs trips? How many / how often do you use it for long trips?

Oh I'd say at least 10k of my 30k is on multi-state trips.

I took a new job last April, and bought the Mach E in mid-May because my old Ford Fusion was starting to show its age, and I had a new gig, and gas was really climbing in price. Well, the job was a bad fit and I walked off in mid-September, and I still had a new beautiful car... so my 1st five months were all commuting or just running normal errands, and my second five months were visiting Sonny Boy in Louisville Kentucky, friends all over New England, and just fun travel to northern Wisconsin, Chicago, Massachusetts, the Maryland coast, the Mid-Atlantic national parks etc.

Overall, including the Arlington VA to Louisville KY trips and several really long trips, I'd actually say maybe up to half of the mileage was on DCFC. This is a reasonably informed SWAG.

Again, the car being well-designed it's just fun to put the dog inside and take off.

BTW - I always smile when I see your misaligned door + balcony in your avatar pic.

2 months short of it’s 2nd birthday with 54,254 miles on the clock. 6 tyres, one service before they altered the service intervals and not much more than self inflicted costs involved in ownership.
