Ford BlueCruise and GM Super Cruise are only driver assistance systems to earn points with Consumer Reports

I honestly didn’t even know Subaru had eyesight monitoring - my other car is a 2020 Ascent limited with all the eyesight options. Maybe it’s defaulted to off or something? I’m a fan of BlueCruise, but it freaks out whenever I take a drink or drive with my hand on the top of the streering wheel, even on non-BlueCruise roads. Wish the cameras were mounted above the eyes, such as in the rear view mirror or headliner area. As is stands now, it sometimes drives me crazy to even use adaptive cruise control on non-BlueCruise roads. Seems like something that can be improved in the future.

I wonder if your car has earlier firmware? Mine works flawlessly and I'm impressed with how it will allow me to "do other stuff" - for a few seconds, anyway, before warning me.
