So I haven’t been able to find too much information after lots of searching various forums so thought I would start this post. I was curious to see what other owners have noticed regarding the amount of wind noise coming from the front of the panoramic roof. I notice around 35 mph(radio off) that I start hearing wind noise from the roof. At 80 mph on the highway you definitely notice it. I’m wondering if this is the standard across all MMEs currently out there or is there potentially a bad seal on mine. It is tough to see in the stock photos I looked at online but here is the bit of a step up on my windshield where it meets the roof. Normal or need to get looked at?

That looks misaligned. On my current vehicle with a panoramic roof, the seam is barely noticeable.

Mines the same. I have only seen 3 or 4 other Mme’s and they were the same

I'm no engineer but that seems like a pretty dumb design (if that is indeed the way it is designed). Why would you have the glass roof stick up and create an obvious wind catching (noise creating) area instead of having the glass roof slip under the front windshield?? Seems like that would be way more aerodynamic.
Not necessarily. I don't know if it matters here, and I'm not an aerodynamic expert by any means, but I do know it's not always intuitive. Hence the little wedges on rear taillights, etc.

Almost looks like the windshield is set too low/pushed in too deep. The roof glass seems to match the body height, so less likely it's the problem?

I've heard it too, but not a dealbreaker for me. It's not consistent enough to be.
Ditto. I attributed the wind noise to windy conditions off of the Lake.

Yes I have this and can feel it even at lower speeds, I thought it was.coming from the rear view mirrors, but weird they tried to remove door handles but this bump brings in the noise.

FYI my brother works for Ford and is going to get me in touch with the service division specific to friends and family which is apparently much more effective than just going to the dealer with issues. I will keep everyone updated. But if any other owners have had similar experiences or even if yours has zero wind noise that I’m describing please share and I can pass that along

I have noticed wind noise during the last two days. It is loud enough to make me relatively sure it was not making the noise for the first ten days.

My guess: the extreme cold temps are causing materials to contract creating gaps....

That was my thought as well. I guess we would need some warmer weather owners to chime in, or if some of the folks that mentioned not noticing any noise are in very cold areas right now that might remove that variable from the equation

This almost seems like an impossible design. miss on Ford’s part. For an EV they ran this in wind tunnels a lot. They know the drag coefficient. If it was misplaced the colored smoke would have been turbulent. A factory error also seems unlikely. Maybe an out of spec supplier part.
