Hmm, more Ponys less Torque. Peak HP at over 10k RPMs, awesome.

Awesome. Which model is this? AWD ER? (Edit - looks like AWD Ex)
If so...
Rated HP: 346 (this car: 375!)
Rated torque: 428 ft-lbs (this car: 409)

This thing measured a HP that was way higher (probably because the RPMs aren't correct?) And a torque loss of about 5.5%, which is about what you'd expect on an EV!

Exciting. Now for an intake an exhaust + tune :D

Of course half of the comments are... It's not a mustang.

Anyway they ever get rid of the 111 mph limit?
Wouldn't that be what the GT is for?

Where do they measure the torque and rpm? These numbers are definitely not wheel speed which would be used in the wheel hp calc. If it is motor output, there are two, how do you get the values from those? Needs some explanation.

We need a new thread for performance modifications! Plan on developing some super size clothes pins 2 clip on charging cord to increase charging speeds kind of like clothespins on fuel line to prevent vapor lock LOL

Why does the Dyno have Tesla in the vehicle description?

Why does the Dyno have Tesla in the vehicle description?

Ford Mustang Mach-E First Mach-E dyno test results: 375 hp / 409 ft-lbs torque Screenshot_20210223-081430
I would guess that the Mach E is too new to be an option in whatever dyno software they are using and they just chose the next closest option. The Model X has over 500 HP and more torque, so I would expect it to perform better than these numbers if they were showing previous Model X results and trying to pass them off as a Mach E. Since the video actually shows that Mach E on the dyno and the results seem reasonable, I would guess they actually tested the Mach E.

The main concern is that they are showing SAE corrected horsepower. SAE correction will adjust horsepower measurements for an ICE so that it aligns with a consistent temperature and ambient pressure at all testing locations. Since these conditions don't matter for an EV, it unnecessarily adjusted horsepower up, which is probably why it is shown to produce significantly more than the advertised 346 HP. The 375 HP is likely not what the dyno measured. I would expect torque to be lower because it is measured at the wheels and some amount will be lost to wheel and tire inertia, so I would not expect to see 428 ft-lbs for this kind of test.

have there been a Dyno tests published for all the actual trim levels and both SR and ER battery packs? I would LOVE to see the actual numbers for my MME (Select, AWD, SR), as well as all the other trim and battery combinations. Also would love to see actual curb weights....

most recent Ford specs I've found are:
https://media.ford.com/content/ford...ectric-ford-mustang-mach-e-gets-upgraded.html

but, I'd love to see actuals.....

If they were smart, they could have set the test conditions to the SAE standard conditions so the correction factor would be 1.0. But who knows what they did?

Whoa, this is an old thread.
Yup! Driveline loss for an EV is more along the lines of 5%, instead of 15% like in a typical ICE.
According to this dyno run, it comes out at 5.5% loss.
