I think he was referring to a FE that wasn’t an order for a customer pick up. Basically FEs that end up not getting picked up by the original person and the dealer sells them off their lot.
Almost every Mach-e refused by the original orderer has adm on it, including FE’s. If you’re not refusing the delivery, you’re good to go though.

Well, after logging in to the X-Plan site to pull the PIN for it, I noticed that the First Edition is no longer listed in there with X-Plan pricing (maybe it never was). I contacted Ford's X-Plan support team to get clarification and it seems that First Edition actually is not eligible for X-Plan afterall. I guess as long as my dealer sticks to the MSRP for my purchase, I will not complain *too* much. Here is the response I got from them...

Thank you for your interest in the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. We are sorry to say that the limited-run Mach-E First Edition will not be eligible for the X-Plan Partner Recognition Program. For further information regarding eligible and ineligible vehicles, please review the ‘Plan Rules’ on the www.fordpartner.com website.

Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company, please stay safe and healthy.

Orignal Poster here (I am on the right). Well the dealership that caused me all the hardache came through and sold me the car at MSRP and honored the Ford Options plan. My payment actually came out slightly less then I anticipated since this dealer is in a slightly lower sales tax region! I am super happy with it but have only driven it 40 miles (home from the dealer). However, I can not get it to charge on my existing 240V charger (that has been charging my Tesla with no issue). I have the electrician here now looking at it.

I'm pretty sure we've had others that used X-Plan on the First Edition.

Paging @hybrid2bev for help in aisle 1....

That's news to me. The X-Plan people would be the one's to know if the FE qualified or not.

Doesn't make sense to me since the FE is just a Premium with an extra package (301A instead of 300A) on top of it. FE does not have it's own trim designation in the VIN decoder. I don't see why it wouldn't qualify, but that's not up to me.

I know they are doing the same thing for the Bronco (AZ only, no X plan).

Yeah, I am confused about this for sure, as I could have sworn it was listed in there back when I placed my order. Here is all I see for the Mach-E in the X-Plan site now. :(

Several have gotten XPlan on their FEs. If this is an about face two days before I pick up my FE I'm going to be livid.

I am with you! I am also confused, as the X-Plan support person that I received a response from told me to review the plan rules and to review the list of ineligible X-Plan vehicles. There is no mention of any version of the Mach-E in the Ineligible Vehicles list. I guess I am going to follow back up with the support rep.

This isn't new. FE was removed from the X-Plan site since a long time ago, and it was extensively discussed on this forum.

The general belief here is that it's not listed any more because it's just a package. Additionally, all package add-ons get the 2% off as well.

People's experience of delivery confirmed the above belief.

FE is only an option package to Premium. x plan should be listed on dealer invoice.

Note to Ford corporate and my local Ford installing dealer, (yes that's all you are - an installing dealer). I live in Northern California, (also known as Tesla country). I drive by the Tesla factory every day. My Mach E should be delivered by the end of May. Don't screw this up. Get in line and get ready....the old model of sales id dead.

I have a pic from my sales guy of my FE invoice with X-Plan price highlighted. Car arrived today, should pick up tmrw or Sat AM. If it works for me, I can DM you a pic just like I did for Maric. Don't know why this is such an issue all of a sudden - maybe all the Drops are being delivered in a big clump now?

Which dealer in Oregon? Thanks!
Wilson Ford in Corvallis honored X-Plan. Then they neglected to credit me for the $1000 downpayment made when the order went in. Now I am working to get a refund for $1000...

So I am the original poster. After my post to this forum, I decided to leave a very polite and professional review of the dealership on their facebook page. I was cordial and just provided the facts with a negative recommendation (which effects their facebook review score).

I woke up in the morning with an email from someone at the dealership asking if everything went okay while I was at the dealer yesterday. To make a long story short, the same sales person called me back and asked what they can do to make this right. After another 20 minutes on the phone he basically just gave me the same deal. He then told me that he can give me a better deal on a premium trim (X-Plan pricing) but I probably would not be happy walking away from the First Edition Grabber Blue. He was not expecting me to say I would take the deal. He then tells me well lets just focus on the First Edition and he would only mark it up $1500. I told him what about the Premium he just offered me. He said he does not have one available. We ended the call.

This time I sent a very polite email back and looked up the GM's email address. I asked them to never contact me again and now they made a worse situation, even worse. About an hour later the GM called me and asked for me to explain the situation. He then told me that he tries to run an honest dealership but sometimes stuff slips through the cracks. He asked if they can still earn my business by giving me the car at MSRP with no other additions (like warranties or protective packages). They would just sell me the car straight up or per my request, the 48 month Ford Options plan. I soon got an email from him with the same information spelled out.

I have an appointment tomorrow to pick up my First Edition in Grabber Blue! I guess sometimes being tenacious but still respectful pays off.

First of all congrats on getting the car you wanted at a price you could live with. I've always had success working a deal with the GM after things didn't go well at the dealership.

I know you were happy at getting the car for your price when all was said and done, but posing for this picture, really? You certainly shouldn't be be 'loving' anyone at this dealer let alone giving them a promo picture to use with you?!?! If you really were upset at their games you should have told them so and not done anything to indicate you were happy with anything other then getting the car you wanted. ?

the $1000 omission is just as much on you as it is on the dealer tho. You forgot, they probably did too.
