Is there any consensus as to whether any of these "troubled" units were completed "built" after January 9?
Mine had born date of Jan 9. Shipped Jan 21/22 out of Mexico plant.

No idea really, each appear not related aside from the 12v.

Ford appears to use the powertrain message in our app for many different faultS. It doesn’t pinpoint the underlying issue, Ford gets that by reading the DTC’s. Wish I had one of the readers but for the MME it doesn’t appear to be cheap to acquire.

I’m hoping they can ready my faults remotely to avoid another week at the dealer.

I'd be curous to know if any of these faults were in cars that already had the latest software updates available to general customers.

Mine was built in the early part of December. However, until you know the source of the problem it's impossible to know if the build date matters.

If you Lemon Law the car, do you still qualify for the Federal Tax Credit?
If you otherwise would qualify for it, yes. You bought the car, lemon laws are a forced sell back of the car to the manufacturer (usually). Similar to buying the car, and selling it to a third party a few months later because it no longer meets your needs, they really want it, or whatever.

Machefan: Did they replace the 12 volt battery? Or did they say it tested ok. The battery acts as a filter for electrical noise. Bad battery connection.

If they did not replace the 12 volt battery, I would.

Nope they replaced the DCFC module, updated software.

Dear Ford,

There is another owner with the same exact issue as my car. For that owner they had replaced the charging port but that didn't resolve the issues either. It appears that the car is loosing communication messages which causes the errors to show up. I believe it’s something in our environment that is interfering with the internal communication, from a missing interference shield of some sort. Interference can be coming from any one of my wireless devices such as the 3 Ubiquity AP's, Zwave automation network with repeaters or maybe my Chamberlin Garage door wireless hub. This is just a guess here, but worth passing on to Ford Field Engineering team so they maybe can figure this out as well as helping others.

I can’t read the DTC error codes that are present on my MME but it's a good suspicion they are random. I am not looking to leave the car at the dealer for another week and I doubt they want to loan me their MME for any longer.

Maybe someone pull the DTC current codes remotely, is this possible? Then pass onto to the FE’s and let them chew on it.

Please..

First off my dealer who is Fullterton Ford in NJ was great all around, no games no issues period. The MME arrived yesterday and the PDI was today, there was a loose plug to the ABS sensor that took them 4 hours to resolve. When I got home the FordPass app told me there is a power Train malfunction / reduced power, so something else is up. Dash says "Service soon" Hope I didn't get a lemon...

I hear the screen whine that's been spoken about, that I can live with it, but when you are in drive there is a low hum or noise (not the fake sounds). My leaf when in drive is totally silent, when you speed up the noise is much less. Anyone else experience the low noise when in Drive or Reverse? It goes silent when you are in park. I am also not able to get the wireless to sync to my home but I will figure that out later.

Will post tomorrow as it's late and I am tired.

Just placed my order with Fullerton. Did you end up doing Ford Options for financing?

Congrats, Which model / color did you choose, did you reserve via Ford or one they have coming in?

I went with financing for 36 months at 0.9 with 50% down. Looking back I should have maybe gone with options, but I just wanted to keep it simple. The current incentives expire at the end of the month, but I for the last quarters it's been the same.

Update this morning from the dealer is that Ford Engineering is aware and looking into it. Hopefully something comes forward soon.

Thanks! I went with red Premium AWD ER. Need that giddy up and go lol
I ordered it through Ford so I think I’m in for quite a wait.

Likely going to do Options, dealer told me the incentive will hold since whatever is there when I click “order” is what I’ll get. Sounds too good to be true but we’ll see!
