OK, I can understand not wanting to be specific about the delays, or possibly even being very proactive about the whole situation. But now that the email(s) is getting around online, Ford may have to come clean on the criteria for the extra incentives for those of us still waiting on cars that were built last year...

Not just that but I could have sworn that "FE's and Premiums first then selects, then GT's". How did it happen that selects with no reservations that ordered later in the process were delivered prior to not just premiums but first editions". The whole roll out has been clumsy. They could have done so much more! I mean they had 2 years to figure it out.

You were able to get a Mach Drop 10 days ago?
Yeah, delivered 2/18 and purchased 2/20.

I suspect the email pertains to my original order since that was originally scheduled to be built 12/20 but was build almost a month later.

Didn't get this email (shipping, but not delivered, no delay [yet]), but on the subject of security and email communication:

This email has no call-to-action of any sort, just informative, so itself is harmless. However, having an email address that's not ford.com comes with… a lot of problems. If there was a call to action (click here to get something free), there's a lot of problems there. These emails are the kind companies train their employees not to interact with.

So I did some research…

machesupport.com is registered to a company called Percepta. Their HQ is near one of the office buildings around Fairlane Mall which is near the Glasshouse (Ford HQ). So it looks like this program is outsourced to a third party. There are ways to safely do these communications with a third-party, but there doesn't seem to be an interest by Ford and/or Percepta to explore that.

Also, there is a machsupport.com in the wild, which is very clearly not by Ford. This is the kind of honeypotting one can only dream about…

So this is a legit email? I called and they asked for VIN, name, email address, phone number and address- pretty much the same as when I called the MAch E helpline.

My pre-delivery checklist sure is getting long....

Where is my car?
Where is my 500 kWh free charging?
Where is my extra $1000 off?
If I have to wait another week do I get a 2nd fob?

?

Got this email today - looks like a scam to me, but maybe it's legit. Anyone else get this?

I got the same email today. Fortunately, it came within 10 minutes of my dealer texting me "Your MachE is here!" along with 2 photos of it sitting in his shop getting a top-up charge ... !!!

I've had the car for almost a month and I continue to get the "No Connected Services Available" message when I try to activate. The connected navigation does not show up either. Anyone successful in getting past this?
I have the same issue and had to have Ford issue a ticket for the problem. According to another member they were able to fix the problem but it took a week or so to get it done.

It does not seem like a problem that will resolve on it's own so I would give them a call, but don't expect much help as they were clueless on what to do, so a ticket was created.

This is real. This is a copy of what is posted on the internal Ford site

Dealer personnel, please guide customers thru the process of accessing the FordPass Charging Network at time of delivery: • Download the FordPass App, add your VIN to your garage, activate the Mustang Mach-E’s modem • Go online to www.ford.com/connectedservices to activate the two years of complimentary access to FordPass Charging Network • Once enrolled the incremental 250 kWh of complimentary charging will show up in their account.

No action is required on behalf of the dealer or customer to redeem the incremental charging kilowatts. 21MY Mustang Mach-E retail customers whom had a vehicle produced on or before February 18, 2021 will have the additional kilowatts reflected in their Ford Pass App account and available April 2021 or shortly after delivery.
Good idea and thanks. But I do have to add ... good luck with that. There are Ford dealers selling this car who want to see it fail*. I’d not expect the suggestions you’ve made to be universally adopted.

* yes they’re dinosaurs and cretins.

Wonder if that was due to a previous delay and Ford just now finalized the extra 250kWh.

I got the email, and I asked my dealer to do a vehicle visibility report. On a stop ship.

It’s for delays your car experienced or is about to experience.
We know that for a fact?

(Ever since cars started shipping traffic has increased 10-fold on the forums so I'm sure I've missed something.)
