I would suggest an additional setting for departure times. Right now they only take effect if plugged in, but that prevents me from automatically warming/cooling my car at work where there are no chargers. Having a setting to allow the departure time to take effect without AC power would help prevent that; default it to "AC only" and make me click an "are you sure" would alleviate the concern that users could unknowingly drain their batteries while the car is sitting unplugged.
Second observation - with the FOB in my pocket the trunk stayed locked when I tried to hit the liftgate button on the rear hatch. I have a RT1 so no foot release. My 2015 mustang AND my 2016 Durango both will unlock the rear door if I have the FOB in my pocket and press the door release button on the trunk/hatch. The Mach E should do the same; to open the trunk while carrying a 40 pound bag of dogfood on my shoulder I had to pull the fob out of my pocket and hit the "unlock" button.
Agree with both.

Sorry if this has been covered already, but there needs to be a door lock status.
I think the status should be available for door locks, windows open/closed, trunk status too.

My Android phone (S20 FE) keeps telling me that FordPass is consuming excessive amount of battery. Gives me "Battery Issues Detected" and "Frequent Wakeups" message all the time.

Yes, my phone battery (iPhone 10) is about to die and I checked usage, and FordPass is using 27% of my battery just operating in the background. I think the Ford team is aware of this, but just wanted to reiterate that it is very inefficient currently. Thank you.

Yeah, I think this will be a tough one. I'm guessing it will require a rethink of how to determine if you are close to your vehicle or not.

Your phone has to almost constantly monitor it's cellular modem to see whether there is an incoming text or call, and that modem is always checking in with some connection point. This hardware must be optimized to be very power efficient. FordPass must be doing something similar to check if your car is nearby, maybe only using Bluetooth. Whatever the full method, the hardware being used doesn't seem to be nearly as power efficient.

My FordPass is spamtacular.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Submit Your FordPass App Feedback to Ford Screenshot_20210302-155202

I am happy it lets me know when my car gets home. Makes me wonder were it goes off to every day. ?

yes, car app 101!

my feedback is cool it with the needless messages. Really? 85 messages in the one above? Finished charging, errors, stuff like that, the rest are stupid wastes of time and phone batteries.

To be fair to FordPass 60 or so of those are me attempting to get PaaK working and error messages due the early untimely death of my Ford Connect Charger... ?

Have you updated the FordPass app to the current version? I know there was a problem with earlier IOS versions draining the battery.

Yup current. I think it must be because it is always pinging the bluetooth, to stay connected.

While I have you, ;), do I have do anything to get the over the air updates? Do I have to connect my car to home wifi? I don't want to pay for AT&T hotspot. Can't figure out the home connection to wifi thing.

I have iphone 8 and i have same problem with FordPass hogging more than 40% of my battery. I turned off Use always GPS to only when app is open and I stopped the App from running all the time. Otherwise my phone is running out of juice rather quickly than when compared to FordPass not being active.

Do we have access to a web version of FordPass with the same features at the mobile application?
I can't seem to find it online. When I go to my FordPass account online it looks like just a bunch of marketing stuff. Does anyone know how to access the remote start/stop features, check on charging state, read alerts and vehicle reports, trip reports, manage charging locations and times, departure times etc? Where is all that stuff online? ? ?
