Thanks, those are some big seats! Not to reinforce the MachE as a cool dad-mobile, but while I only have one car seat to fit I'm glad it will do well. Ours just barely clears in our Prius (and I'm only 5'7"), so things should be spacious here.

I know several of us on this forum have little kids and need to be able to get everyone in the car comfortably. I can happily report that my large Graco convertible car seats both fit with room to spare. These are large car seats. For reference, I am 6'2" and have both seats set for my comfort.

The rear-facing seat behind the passenger seat has close to 1" of clearance. In my current cars ('06 Explorer and '15 CRV), the seat is in contact. And the passenger front seat in the CRV is pulled forward to accommodate the car seat (my knees hit the dash).

The front facing seat has plenty of clearance to the headliner above the headrest. And the distance between the driver's seat and the car seat is plenty for my son to easily slide out and climb in. Both of those actions are tricky in the Explorer and CRV.

The only downside is that there is not enough space in between for a middle passenger. Maybe a kid could sit there for a short trip, but no adult. Again, my car seats are pretty large, so maybe some sleeker ones would allow for more utility.

I had a Mach E loaner last weekend from my dealer, and my two kids fit beautifully, one booster with a back and one standard bulky front facing seat. Still had room to pull down the middle armrest. It was a great fit, and I’m coming from an Expedition EL for reference. I don’t see this being an issue for most people.

Hold my beer. I have those same car seats and I've sat b*tch for 20 minutes so my in law could drive my family to the airport so we didn't have to pay for extended stay parking! It can be done but you won't be the same afterwards!

You can fit two rear facing and a booster in the middle as well. (I mean I haven't tried tried, but I have a booster and one of the two rear facing in right now... I will try the second rear facing once I get my car running without warning lights)

This is great news for families! I hated moving my seat forward to accommodate a rear-facing seat in my old Mazda 6! Don't forget to always use the top tether anchor on forward-facing seats. I'm betting Ford made it easy to locate in the MME. It's labeled like a ship's anchor.

just installed our Graco convertible seat a couple days ago. Way more room than our old Q5.

One of the many benefits of a 117-inch wheelbase.
