looks awesome, post more pics please, side profile, from the front, etc. love the improved stance! and the mustang no longer looks like a muscle head with tiny legs. much better proportions.

definitely considering 20" rims now... i got a RWD so am really tempted to get different widths front vs back.

I am all about lots of photos but I am waiting until I get the car more finished. Not sure if you noticed the missing charge door panel on that left side shot but the body shop has that to color match the paint to make sure the fender mouldings come out right. Can't really be taking many shots with that missing plus I don't like the black fender mouldings and I have mis matched tires (sidewalls) so don't want many photos with them. I am taking a couple of shots this morning (of the right side) and will post them later today. Then in about a week or so when I get the mouldings back and proper front tires, I'll take quite a few more.

I have never been a car person. I bought my MME and love it. I thought because it was an EV there was less opportunity for mods and upgrades (which again I've never cared about). And when I saw this thread I didn't think I would care about changing the wheels/tires as I really liked the stock wheels. But man, I REALLY like what you did! It looks so good!

Now I want to do it, but I need to think about how to do this for about half the cost! Lol!

Before I mounted the front wheels earlier this week, I adjusted the camber (front only) to it's maximum negative setting. Factory setting is around -0.70˚ on this car and I wanted a little more negative camber than that but knew I could not get much out of it. The repair manual says there is only about a +/-0.75˚ leeway unless you want to install aftermarket adjustable camber top strut mounts. It was very simple to do, just remove the splined strut to wheel bolts and nuts and replace them with 5/8" x 3" bolts and nuts. Since the replacement bolts are not splined, you have a bit of room to move the wheel forward and backward. I moved the bottom of the wheel forward as much as I could and tightened the bolts up. I was able to get -1.1˚ on the left and -1.2˚ on the right. Was hoping for more but it's a bit better than the -0.70˚ that I started out with.

I just took it to the alignment shop today and had it checked. The only issue was the front toe was out since I had given it more negative camber. They adjusted the toe and now all is well. The rear camber is adjustable also and I could have given it more but I am happy where the stock setting is.

Interesting. When I did my Boss 302's we went with as much negative camber as possible, while keeping them the same side to side. I think we were at about -2.0. I think my 2013 GT350 is the same, or close to it.

Am I reading the image right that the front is a little toe in and the backs are a little toe out? Being able to change the rear specs is something foreign to me. I'm a "solid axle" kind of guy. :D

Yes, I would have liked to have had a bit more camber up front but I am not going all out on this car so it is what it is and that is the most I could get without aftermarket parts.

So the backs at .15˚ have slightly more toe in than the fronts at .07˚ but this is very very slight like if you were to breath heavy on the suspension it might change that measurement.

Yes it is fun having IRS and dealing with more adjustments. Below are the measurements on my GT500.

I posted the below already in another topic where someone doubted if bigger OEM rims would fit on the RWD trim but I think my question/concern is in a better place here.

Several Dutch dealers have contacted buyers with the message that their RWD with 18inch will not be upgraded with their ordered 19inch AWD upgrade rims as per FORD HQ they are NOT allowed to be fitted on an RWD. Reason: homoligation for the RWD has only been done for 18inch in the EU

They stated this counts for all of the EU, not only the Netherlands. The latest Dutch accessoiry list also states with the 19inch rims that they can only be fitted on vehicles which came equipped with 19inch from the factory.

This all being said, I'm 99% sure 19 inch and 20 inch will fit fine. I intend to fit it with 20inch aftermarkets but would like to be 100% sure. I'm not bothered with paper restrictions due to a fool forgetting to mention the bigger rims on the EU homoligation but would like to avoid the 1% chance it's not allowed due to technical reasons.

Also it's still unclear to me what offset I need to order for 245/45/20 8J.
Based on below calculation I believe ET45 would suit best but i'm no expert on this matter

Anyone here with more info on the above?

I don't think there is a difference between RWD and AWD when it comes to wheel fitment on the Mach E but I could be wrong. I can tell you that with my AWD I have absolutely no issues with the 20"x10" wheels in the rear and 20"x8.5" wheels up front. In fact, I could have gone with 9" wheels up front as there was a bit more room to play with than in the rear. As far as the offset goes, it does all depend on not only the wheel size but the tire sizes you use then there is the matter of the sidewalls. Some are completely flat and some bulge as much as 3/4". Lots of trim and error here. Maybe someone here knows more about RWD models than I do.

Interesting information you received. The dealers not being able to upgrade the wheel/tire is more of a business limitation. There is no physical reason I know why the larger size won’t work.

In terms of wheel fitment to fit the 8” wheel all around I can handle that for you over at Signature Wheel. When I go through the process of designing your wheel I can adjust the fitment based on what your goals are and desired aesthetics.

Mark’s car has our 20” setup and it looks great.

Thanks. I was going to take more/better photos this week but not sure I will get around to it. A few other projects got in the way (finishing the sound deadening, adding a sub, changing out springs to lower the car a bit, etc.) but I will post more photos when I can.

How much do you think only this would cost? Thinking of doing it to mine
I had mine Plasti Dipped Gloss black for a total of $180, turned out great. I believe that the powder coating is in the $350 range.
