FORD please deliver my car! Starting my 15 month waiting and I know I am not the longest one waiting. @opus is waiting from reserving the first day reservations started.
I will say they've been super responsive on social media, even if not outwardly so here. I reached out to Mike Levine on Twitter and he got me answers pretty quickly, and got things moving again.

I’ve tweeted my concerns to Farley, Levine, and Ford. I’ve called/chatted the CSRs at least 6 times to report one bug or another. I’ve gone to the dealership twice to document issues. So far, absolutely no information forthcoming from Ford. I’m sure they’ve got their top men working on my issues. Who? Top. Men.

I’m only beginning my 11th week in the Ford information black hole and I’m so mad I can’t see straight. How have you kept your sanity or have you?

Ford, if you’re reading this...

With one exception, I’ve owned nothing but Fords for over 40 years. If I ever get my MME it will be my last.
Yes some of this has been frustrating. Cars being built out of reservation order by 6 months or more and then cars built after mine by weeks being delivered near me before mine by weeks. That has made for an unpleasant experience.

The premium AWD Extended i drove, felt under dampened to me. Not bouncy, harsh per say, but it felt like it needs a bit more dampening. It needs to handle the road bumps a bit better.

There is a forum for frequent flyers and travel enthusiasts called flyer talk.com. There are tons of sub forums for various airlines, hotel chains, credit cards, airline alliances, rental car companies, etc. some of these companies actually maintain a public presence on those forums and will sometimes invite users to reach out to them with problems. Other companies don’t acknowledge a presence, but are obviously watching because you see behavior changes, then there are a few companies that actually court members of the forums with events called “dos” (pronounced “doo s”). They’ll be invited to facilities, be wined and dined, offered previews of new products (usually new first and business class cabins), opportunities in the simulators, and meet & greets with various execs. Of course, remember, these are people who are usually spending six digits A YEAR and they usually influence the spend of others. Its a good investment for the airlines to toss things like this at them.
Personally, I’d settle for an invitation for a factory tour ?

I'd be down for a factory tour. I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat. Not sure my work would be as excited for any last minute time off though, hmmm...?

On a more serious note though, I'm sure if they are paying attention to what's being said throughout this forum, I can only imagine that they must be making a list of bugs and issues and be working to resolve them. Ford doesn't want to be putting out something only for it to flop because they don't care how it's received. Bad press=little to no profits= less profits in future for bad press about not helping customers. I'm 100% sure Ford will do what they can when they have viable solutions to issues, while also working on quality of life improvements that take advantage of all the tech they built into this incredible car. Patience on our part while they work through it all will be the frustrating part, but I've no doubts the issues will be fixed. (I'm a little over optimistic but who isn't when you are excited for an amazing car, haha.)

Ford, please be more transparent with the MME orders. I have been in this same black hole for 5 weeks. Give us a date. Parts problem? Extend the date. Be more TRANSPARENT!

When I was applying for schools and visiting them, I spoke to the dean. She mentioned something that suggested she had read my post about her school on a public forum. So, I asked her, "do you read XYZ forum?"

"If there was a forum where you knew people were talking about you, wouldn't you read it religiously?"

I would have been SHOCKED if Ford did not monitor this forum and others. Honestly, I'd be shocked if TESLA wasn't monitoring this forum.

My MME was 1 day from delivery which took 38 days from ship and then it bounced to 44 days with no explanation and it was sitting in NY. My dealer was checking up on why but has gone silent. I went thru FB yesterday and they responded quickly but sent me to marketing. They created a case number for me and gave me a number to call. I'll give them a day before starting calling. The complete silence from Ford is totally unacceptable. I shouldn't find out about my delay by me having to check online. If you are going to slip the date I should have been contacted at least by email telling me. Instead nothing. I don't care what the issue is. I care that Ford can't tell me and be up front about it. So much for Jim Farley and his quality and customer focus push. Especially for this supposedly break through product.
