This morning I found out I needed to go to pick some stuff up about 80 miles from home. Checked the car and I was at 74% for 198 miles of range. “Let’s go” I said. Made it to the destination and back. Still had enough range to get to my local free charger. I got this. ?

257 miles into my 266 mile road trip, yesterday. Was starting to sweat a little. Had to grab 10 minutes of charge before getting to my destination.

You're going to charge up from 4% on a Level 2 that's not at home?

Well, there is a free 40 amp level 2 charger 1.25 miles from my house, and no level 2 charger at my house, so...

I used to get nervous when my gas gauge fell below 50%. Can't even imagine the anxiety these pics would produce in me.
But, when driving an ICE vehicle, do you stress out about fuel at 50%? I wait until about 1/8th tank to start getting worried when I’m driving a gas powered car. I am way more aware of my fuel status in the Mach-E, and I’m trying to teach myself to calm down about that.

meh tell that to all the drivers of early Leaf's and Focus Electric's where you could only go 70 miles. Arriving home with 0 miles in range was common.

Yeah I know this is that "old angry man" post: "Back in my day we had to walk uphill to school both ways in the snow"!

oh yeah and "get off my lawn"

Nice!

I'll tell you, within a week of having the car I went from "range" anxiety to "how the hell can I drive this car enough to get under 40% so I can justify a DC charge session" anxiety lol.

LOL I am an old man but I ain't got a lawn.

I currently can't make a 21 mile round trip to/from work with my Fusion Energi on battery alone. So I guess I am an angry old man. :p
