Je suppose que j'annule ma réservation Mach-E. Hier soir, j'ai eu le seul I-Pace S à vendre dans la région d'Atlanta avec du cuir. Les roues de 20 pouces illustrées ont été échangées contre un I-Pace plus cher en inventaire que j'ai également conduit mais sans cuir. Ces roues sont une option de 3600 $ que j'ai obtenue gratuitement. Donc plus de 5 000 $ en dessous du PDSF + 0% d'intérêt + roues gratuites de 3600 $ = réservation Mach-E annulée.

Les roues de 18 pouces ont mieux roulé que je ne le pensais, mais elles ont quand même fait flotter la voiture. Il y a beaucoup de flancs sur ces jantes de 18 pouces. Les roues de 20 pouces me paraissent beaucoup mieux, mais je viens d'un X1 avec des pneus très bas sur une configuration de roues décalée de 19 pouces, donc je suis habitué à une conduite plus ferme. Ma première impression du faux cuir était très bonne. Il a l'air et se sent très bien, mais à 800 mètres plus loin, il commençait déjà à devenir sensiblement plus chaud que le cuir. Les faux sièges en cuir étaient également principalement manuels. Je veux dire, venez sur Jaguar, une voiture avec un prix catalogue de 80 000 $ ne devrait pas avoir de sièges manuels. Bien que je suppose que cette voiture ne coûte plus 80 000 $ parce que j'ai ses roues.

Oh, et mon assurance automobile a augmenté de moins de 30 $ tous les 6 mois, l'I-Pace remplaçant mon X1 2014.

What is the hardware limit in the Mach E for 150kW?
The 150kW limit was implied quite a while ago back on the reddit AMA with the Mach-E engineer. It was something to the effect that 350kW wasn't going to happen and it would be a waste to put that kind of wiring into the car and not be able to use it.

Personally, i think we'll see ~150kW for a decent chunk of the bottom half of the capacity. Maybe from 10% to about 40-45% then tail off from there.

The I-PACE was initially nerfed to 80kW max charging when it was first released with a subsequent increase to 100kW after a software update.

La FE que j'ai réservé est à 69500 € en France, et vu la désorganisation de Ford, Jaguar va en profiter pour faire des remises substantielle, c'est certain, donc pour moi le choix va être très rapide

It's probably a delay to Europe of 4-8 weeks. I'm pretty certain that the first units will arrive to Europe starting in January 2021 and then they'll just keep showing up as they fulfill preorders then eventually dealer inventory. The Jaguar is nice but I think you'll enjoy the Mustang more.

Honestly, in France, starting from a basic i pace model (S) with the options that are going well, it is € 89k or € 20k more than the MM e for less autonomy ... There is no photo, I would wait for the MM e.

Its 150kW as that is the max charge with what is supported now. If Ford ever wants to go higher then they need to change the hardware in the on-board chargers or something controlling the charge unit.

Mustang MachE dealer called me a few days ago and I asked exactly this question stating that various websites are reporting a delayed delivery date even here in Europe. He insisted no it is it still on schedule for late 2020 but I am pretty sure it will be a Q1 at earliest for non First Editions at least.
I am actually more worried about a price jump here in Norway as the Norwegian Krone is suffering massively compared to the US Dollar and Tesla just went up 50,000nok equal to around 5000$ us over night a few weeks ago for all of their models more or less simply stating foreign exchange rate.

The I-Pace starts at $70k, and several in my area have list prices in the low 70's. The $10k off or $5k off + 0% interest put it close enough to the upper ranges of the Mach-E for me to consider. I think the Mach-E will be great car, and you probably won't be disappointed if you can wait for it. It still has a lot of unknowns about it though while the I-Pace can be driven today. When I reserved in November I had figured by this time we'd know more about it and have instrumented test data from someone like Car and Driver instead of just the same targets we had in November. Then there's the uncertainty about when we'd get the car.

I think the next couple years are going to be a lot of fun watching all the new EV's hit the market.

I talked to a dealer in South Carolina that still had a 2019 HSE on the lot they were looking to unload. They said they only stocked the HSE trims because they had trouble moving the cheaper S and SE. Maybe your area is similar. In the Atlanta area there was only 1 HSE, but there were 3 SE's & 5 S's - well, now only 4 of S trims. The dealer closest to my house only had S trims.

I'm fine with the I-Pace range. I'll charge at home, and we've still got a diesel BMW wagon and a F150 if we need to leave town. I will say the 120V charging is much slower than I expected. I originally thought I could drive it to work 4 days a week, and over the course of the week the slow charging could keep up. It's not a problem right now since I'm still working from home due to Covid, but I'm going to have to go ahead and get a home charger. Georgia Power offers a rebate though on chargers, and they offer low off peak rates for EV charging which you really only take advantage of with a faster charger so I guess it probably made sense to get a charger anyway.

It's amazing the price differences from area to area. Here in N.Y. you can still easily get a beautifully equipped I-Pace SE anywhere in the $60s. Very hard to turn down at that price for the looks & luxury. In fact in my case it was impossible! :)

Over 20K off the list price for the 2019 I-Pace HSE version in this area. Internet search reveals some going in the high 50k. You can purchase this vehicle and have it transported to your region.
