I confirmed with the dealership that on GT they are charging $5000 ADM. he wasnt sure if it was going to apply to current reservation holders and said he would call me back. He didnt call me back and i switched dealers. Screw them.
Once the change is made, be sure to promote AutoNation's behavior widely. Also, please add them as charging ADM on the no-ADM dealer thread.

Great point. I changed my mind. This is a great dealer and simply are utilizing free market practices. I’m changing back to them, cause its their prerogative to charge what they want. Silly of me to go 15 minutes in the other direction for the same product I reserved 2 years ago for $5000 less. Thanks for your input.

The autonation in Georgia is also charging 7G adm. They said it was due to high demand of the car.

You were judging my opinion and I’m judging yours right back sarcastically. And your analogy is terrible. Say I went to Target 10 minutes from my house to buy a Tv advertised in a target ad for $500 that I asked them to put aside for me on the phone and when I got there they said, no, sorry, there arent many left in our store so we are charging you $750. So then I went to the target store 15 minutes in the other direction and they said, yes, we are selling for our advertised price, I would for the rest of my life shop at that target despite being 5 minutes further, and I would find the other targets business practices to be disgusting (and bad business for losing a customer for life)

Let's put this as clean as we can. Is it ok for the dealer to charge over MSRP? yes. As a consumer do we like it? no. SO we become smarter and look for a cheaper option somewhere else as in all things we buy.

Simple to the point now let's eat a piece of cake and ice cream.

Hello,
I went to ford dealer in beaverton, oregon and they were asking 5k more than the list price because of supply and demand issue in ford mach-e. I dont understand why the customer has to pay for this stupid supply/demand and some fucking chip issue.

As @trutolife27 said, it's the dealer's perogative, just as it's our perogative to not shop with that dealer and spend our money with a dealer that does not charge ADM.

So I've been talking to a local dealership about a Mach-E and one in TX, just to hedge my bets. The one in TX offered to let me put down a deposit to hold it, so I figured sure, if the local one falls through, I'll have this one in my back pocket.

Called today to get it done, and she transfers me to her manager. Her manager then proceeds to tell me there is a $10,000 "market adjustment" over the price on their website. I laughed and told him no thanks, and hung up. She called me back, and said he was willing to make it a $5000 markup. I laughed again and said no thanks, and she was not happy. If all else fails, I'll just wait. My local dealership provided me with a printout of the total cost, so I hope I can hold them to that when it arrives.

The scummy lying dealership is Waxahachie Ford in TX. Steer clear. Luckily they told me this before I made the trip (visiting family next weekend, was going to be in the area).

I replied to the Tweet from the first post in this thread, who knows if he even cares anymore. The website and window sticker both have the MSRP, it was only when I spoke to the manager that I was told it was an extra $10k.

I went to their website where it is listed for $47,000. I filled out the form and they called me. Stephanie said the price is $57,000. She said the reason the price on the website was incorrect was that the dealership can't update the price on the website. What a bunch of BS.

That is a bad dealership.
