Washed mine this weekend for the first time since buying it (it kept raining the days I wanted to wash it) and fell in love again with how the Infinite Blue looks on this car.. Not that I ever fell out of love, but man oh man does this car shine when it's clean.

Is that with a ceramic coating, or just its natural shine?

Natural shine. I'm likely to add a ceramic coating though, as I noticed a few small chips on the hood paint already :-/

How much does ceramic help with chips? I'm still debating whether I want to get mine coated when it finally arrives. I really don't like the PPF look, so there's no way I'm doing that. Not to mention the cost.

I saw that your car arrived last week and called Orchid to see if you were going to take it. Ordered mine on 2/5 and scheduled to build on 5/24. I’ve got the light interior and RR drive. I’ll keep an eye out for you in Kona if you get this direction. Looks awesome, can’t wait until mine crosses the Pacific.
We’re up in Waimea. Couldn’t do the light interior. Red soil and light doesn’t work. ;)

Understandable, we are a bit warmer even at 700 feet elevation and will probably cover the fronts with Costco Seat covers to help protect. Nice pics by the way. Enjoy the ride. I bet it was perfect over the Saddle.

It doesn't really, way too thin to offer that kind of protection.

That’s one of the prime reasons I took delivery in Hilo. Bit longer drive. Plus the Kona location is a tight fit parking wise when you’re headed there.

700 feet in Kailua town would drop the temps into the “annoying and humid” level. ;)

We lived at 300 feet there for several years.

I treated (coated) mine with Turtle Wax Ceramic Hybrid Solutions and it really shines too. This product is a poor man's ceramic coating and doesn't absolutely require all the prep work a traditional ceramic coating has when a professional detailer does it.

Picking up my IB Mach-E tomorrow if it gets through dealer prep before closing time :) I was nervous that the guy who made the original order (he decided on a different model and made a second order) would change his mind, but the sales manager called me and said the customer was going to wait for his gray AWD.

A week or so of watching palsapp and then refreshing the reservation details page, I finally get to relax. Graduating from a Chevy Bolt, but I will miss the little guy.

What level tint do you have on the front windows? It looks great with that color.
That’s as dark as I can legally go in Hawaii, 35% light passage. The color was selected to closely mimic the rear window color as closely as possible.

We have annual safety inspections out here. Tinted windows are checked and I don’t want to have to deal with too dark of a tint.
