I'm blown away that there are people that don't use cruise control. I guess it is a preference. I drive 30,000 miles plus a year, and adaptive cruise is fantastic. it is one of my favorite features. That being said, that's why there are lots of options to choose from. I'm sure my wife will not use it, as she mostly commutes short distances.

For long commutes and/or stop and go traffic, adaptive cruise control can be magical. If you spend most of your time driving from stoplight to stoplight, not so much. I think a lot of it depends on how much, and what kind of, driving you do.

So if NJ's extra EV incentive comes back, a Premium Extended Range AWD will not qualify because the built-in BlueCruise puts the MSRP (before $1,100 Delivery/Destination) at $55,300, just over the $55k MSRP cap. Glad mine got build last week!
Maine's limit is $50K. Mine was just under and I got a premium color.

Agree. Ford can't make infotainment software, we can't trust it with self-driving :)

So I pay extra for blue cruise even though I ponied up (ha) early and bought earlier than others? and I bought too early to avoid a front license plate being installed against my wishes but not early enough that I’ve had the car for weeks on end like most on here?
Damn. Least I got infinite blue to show for my ill-timed order

I'm definitely going to pay for the software. I just hope it provides a real enhancement over the current lane centering. Although lane centering is a nice tool on the highway, it gives up too easily on curves and ping-pongs a bit too much for my liking. If my $600 addresses those two issues, I'll be very happy.

I didn’t think I’d like lane centering but turns out I turn it on whenever I am on the highway and really enjoy it. Only problem I’ve seen is entrance and exit ramps confuse it when driving in the right lane. I “solve” that problem by driving in the center (or left ?) lane. My wife thinks I’m due for a ticket.

And don’t forget the buzzy driver screen that Ford is refusing to warranty.

Ford Mustang Mach-E $600.00 Blue Cruise is coming.... will_poulter

You guys get state tax incentives?

Utah gave me a high five and a big thumbs up for buying an EV
You guys get a high five and a thumbs up?! Wow! You’re doing better than PA! We get “what’s an EV? Here’s a reflective triangle for the back of your buggy (as in horse and buggy)” Being environmentally responsible in this state means you have one of those horse diaper things ?

Not until the “third quarter of this year”. Remember, BlueCruise is software so apply the usual software delivery caveats ?

And you won’t have to. Ford has not announced any timelines for any self-driving capabilities ?
