OK, I stand corrected Ford representative at an auto show.I don't have access to that kind of data if you have suggestions on where / how I could get it I will investigate out if curiosity. I was kind of hoping that it was not a popular color because that make my car more unique.
The info on popularity came from a Ford representative not a dealer. But and to your point he may not know any more than you or me.
Do you really have any good evidence that Infinite Blue went from being the #1 choice at 27% of Mach E orders to less than 10-12% since December? If his information is correct, why did they drop the formerly most popular color rather than Iconic Silver at 4%, Shadow Black at 4% or Space White at 7%?I was at the auto show over the weekend. The ford representative told me paint colors are like everything in automobile manufacturing are all about economics. He went on to say that a certain percentage say 10 to 12% of any particular vehicle need to be a particular color to have it be cost effective. He essentially said ford was not getting enough orders in infinity blue to keep the color. his personal opinion was that the brochures don't do the color justice.
