only had mine a few days and have only put 100 miles on the car. I've got a standard range battery rwd. Hoping I can average the 230.
The longer you drive it the better the mileage gets. You are always going to beat the 230 miles range. You teach the car about your driving habits and the car will show you what it can do for you. You will see. Pay attention to the numbers and you will see what I am talking about. At the end your confidence gets better.
Good luck.

Blue Ridge Parkway today.!!!!!
Started with 100% and 286 miles.
Had to come home and pick up a necessary item. 80% on the range.
Climbed the escarpment from SC to NC and entered the BRP. Drove to Craggy Gardens and 6000ft elevation to find out we were in the soup and rain. No fun to hike in these conditions. Turned around for Pisgah mountain for an overlook and picnic.
Temps in the upper 50s. Yes......50s.
Going down the ridge I built up range.
End up in DuPont Forest for a 5 mile hike with my sweetie. We had a good time and the Mach E lived up to its range reputation.
We added mileage and range as we were coming down the mountains.
Ahhh.......what a day. We enjoyed every bit of it. No range anxiety.
By the way........all the people who came to ASK questions about the Mach E.!!!!!!
Be prepared to give answers.

I just got my standard range premium awd Thursday. Whats weird is at 100 percent it shows only 182 of range(not the so called 211). Well today I did 90 miles and still had 67% left. That means based on this i could have gotten 270 miles on it. Minded this was going over some mountains and stop and go traffic. Impressed but I am confused why my Guage is showing way less miles when full then the 211 especially when based on percentage today I would have gotten 270 miles.

After a 100% charge last night the estimated range was 306. I expect the actual range to be somewhere around 280. The EPA rating for the AWD EXT is 270. Driving around town it gets around 3.5 per kWh but on the highway it drops off to about 2.8 per kWh at 70 to 75 mph.

Yes, Ford is doing themselves a disservice by being so conservative. Then again, I need to remember that this is summer when the mileage will be higher and the battery is new. Maybe they are selling it on a realistic range for real world conditions after a few years.

For what it’s worth, I repeated the same trip yesterday with similar results. My lifetime mileage is 4.1kwh/mi at almost 600 miles now. Pretty decent in my opinion—I am happy!

I hit 300 for the first time this morning. :)

I have about 6500 miles on it so far. I've driven it on several long road trips and I a lot of confidence in the range.

I do not drive it conservatively. I always have it on Unbridled. And when I am first at a stop light, I make sure to get 0-to-speed limit +~5 very quickly.

My main takeaway so far - I drive it like I want to and how I enjoy it. I don't worry about range.

My second takeaway is weather matters. I haven't learned enough about that yet, but my current theory is the range is going to be 230 or so when weather conditions are the worst, and my current 300+ is ideal, and the average will be 270...

Don't be surprised if you see 323 miles to empty. As soon as you start driving the vehicle will adjust down to the 288 - 295 range especially if the a/c and E heat is on or the battery needs to be conditioned for the drive ahead.
Remember the range will adjust according to your driving style. This is not a one Variable Equation. It is a Two Variable Equation. You and the Mach E. The Two work together. One feeds from the other.
Find the happy medium.
That's why to me the EVs are interesting.
They make you think and play with your machine accordingly in complete silence.
Enjoy.!!!!!

With 278 mile range on an AWD SR I would be ecstatic!

It's more than 2 variables: weather, speed, and terrain are huge factors as well

How do you know?
presumably he;s referring to the range estimator (ie GOM), but it could also be confirmed by seeing the mi/kwh increase in the tripmeter

I would think so too. Trouble is that I've never noticed neither, although I'm e.g. using one pedal driving. I've only driven the car 700 kilometres in total yet (got it 5/20). Could that be a reason, do you think?
