Jim - For the PREMIUM trim line, you don't need those options - items are standard. The options that Tim is mentioning are for the SELECT trim line.
Presumably, it means the price is the same for GT.

$2300 - comfort/appearance package
$2600 - comfort/technology package

These option packages are mutually exclusive. Also, it will cost more $$ to activate the Active Drive Assist software even after you paid $2600 to install the hardware.

No. These packages include many things that are standard on the GT, so the price won't be that high. In fact, I expect the packages will be different altogether for the GT. For example, they may package the tech package with the pano roof.

right, but that 67A ALSO includes 19" wheels with aero cover and black roof. If 67B contains those as well, then one can assume the price is comparable; if not then 67A will be at least $1000 more
Well I would assume US pricing would be at least 25% less then the Canadian pricing , not the contrary.

I really hope that's right cuz I'm getting priced out of the GT.

It can't be. The 67A package makes no sense for a GT that already has all that except for black painted roof and maybe cargo area cover (not sure if that's standard on the GT or not).
The 67V would add the 360 prep package for park assist and the 360 cameras (and the cargo area cover, if that's not standard on the GT). However, it also provides a lot of items that already are standard on the GT: hands-free tailgate, heated seats and steering wheel, power mirrors and memory power driver's seat. So the price for the 360 tech stuff can't be $2,700 on a GT.
The good news is we know it should be something very significantly less than $2,700 for the 360 tech items.

For gods sake, if I get this, it will put me over the $55K max in NJ again. I currently would order the Premium AWD, SR battery, which I think gets me to $53,800, so I am under. I gave up the ER battery for that purpose. I guess for what I will use the car for, around town and commuting, I really don't need it.
If you get the premium, you don't need it - for the base price the premium comes with the 360 degree camera and park assist 2.0. That package only applies to the Select, which is what my cheapskate self is interested in.

Yeah, I know, but I held out hope until this. I even sent an email to Darren Palmer letting him know that MME reservation holders probably are more active and environmentally conscious, and probably a lot of us would like to use the mount for bikes or small trailers for kayaks, etc. Especially since it IS an SUV and does not have roof rails. But so it goes.
Are you sure there will no roof rack system available?

I remember reading somewhere that Ford were in discussions with a manufacturer to come up with a roof rack solution for the MME as there isn't one currently available

There won't be a lease program including the federal tax credit. Ford Options is a lease-like product that is a retail balloon note contract. You would apply for the tax credit on your own tax returns.

You can estimate your payments using this method

(Sales Price X Tax%) - (Down Payment + Balloon Note) = Amount Financed X your% interest rate divided into 35 or 47 monthly payments. This won't include dealer fees/registration, but you'll be in the ballpark.

Leaving tax credit aside, what is the practical difference between this and a standard lease?

In theory based on initial specs, all the GT will end up with options wise for will be 360 camera, glass roof and park assist 2.0 and whatever ends up being part of the performance as that at present is a complete unknown it will either be a single option or multiple.

I can see the glass roof being part of a package but also kept separate, so you can add the roof, add the 360 camera and park assist as some sort a tech package, then maybe a premium package for all three with a small discount compared to adding each individually..

I assume the cyber-orange and grabber blue will be the paint that ends up in the $500 cost option zone, but at a guess a fully loaded GT performance will be around 65k to remain competitive when compared to the model-Y, sure there is the potential for the $7500 tax incentive but depending on what state you are in that will just help cover the sales tax.
