My company installed two dual Level 2 EV chargers at their new main headquarters and I wanted to get a chance to use them. I planned to buy an electric car, likely a Mach-E, later this year. COVID-19 and my car getting totalled last month changed those plans. I got laid off in August of last year and I decided to just retire.

Things are better this month. I adopted a "Speeding Ticket Red" Mach-E RWD ER last week, just amazed that the person who ordered did not want it. I really like the car. I also started as a consultant at my old company. So I charged at my old office for the first time today!

I have about 90 miles round trip to the office, so I can charge every other day for free. There is only one other electric vehicle, so we can have our own charger. It is only a 6.6 kW one and I got a 6.4 kW charge rate, but it is enough range added after eight hours.

First post. Brought my Rapid Red Premium AWD extended range home on Sunday and introduced her to my 65. Right now she's at the shop getting PPF on the full front, powder coated wheels (gloss black), painted calipers (of course red), and ceramic coating. Will post pictures when I get her back next week.

It’s NOT a hoarding situation at all! Thats not what it is, but if you ever find yourself in a situation to get two Mach E’s - take it.
So the situation is way back in August of last year I ordered a Mach E. Nine month later I was getting nervous and started hitting up the web looking for a declined Mach E with no additional dealer markup, (it’s like trying to find a unicorn by the way). Well - I did! Purchased my current Mach-E, but did not cancel my original order. Last week the one I ordered came in.
Asking around the family if there were any takers for the Mach E before I turn it back to the dealer, (not my first option), Hillary's mother in law showed an interest.
She purchased the Mach E and is now the happy owner. I like to think I was the one who gave birth to that car and its now being raise by Hillary’s mother in law. We are a strange, strange family.

Nice rides, haven’t seen too many Rapid Reds next to Ruby Reds. Both shades look good, but glad they went with Rapid Red for the Mach-E.
The Rapid Red does look better on MME, on the opposite, I was parked beside a Rapid Red F150 the other day and I found my Ruby Red to better suit the truck.... but it might just be a personal taste thing

Both colors are amazing, especially when all cleaned and in the sunlight!!!
