I ask, because although I have already ordered, it might be next Spring before I see my vehicle and I don't want to get hyped up if I'm not getting by $7,500. But so far, I have no way to find out for sure. (And yes, I have read through many threads about this, but still unclear)
Assuming you have it ordered you will be fine. A good number of those made are not being sold in the USA, and so they don't count, and there is a grace period (quarter?), and I am sure there will be lots of warnings when on the last quarter. ;) (and even then it's phased out and doesn't go to 0 instantly)

With just 11 days to turn, Mustang Mach-E is essentially selling as soon as it arrives at dealers. Mach-E sales totaled 2,465, with 12,975 Mustang Mach-Es sold through the first half of the year. Customers are telling Ford their primary reasons for purchase is the technology, design and performance that Mach-E provides. The all-new Mustang Mach 1 is having a big impact on performance Mustang sales, which are turning on dealer lots in just days.

After a nationwide search of new and used 2021 Mach E and Tesla Y, I found 2023 Mach E for sale and only 21 Tesla Y for sale. Yet, there are a lot of people waiting for delivery of Mach E, Can anyone explain why there are so many more Mach Es for sale vs Tesla Y?

Have you verified any of those? I doubt if 1 out of 10 of those Mach E for sale are actually for sale off the lot. Dealers like to have have vehicles on web sites early, keep them after sale, also have reserved demos, and customer orders showing so they get customers to inquire and they can either switch you to an order or interest you in something they actually have for sale.

I hope you are correct but Yes, i have looked at a number of websites. Some are over priced, some are new but most are used low mileage. I ordered mine 4 months ago and there has been very little movement.

If by low mileage they are under 2,000 then they are probably dealer demo units and not available for sale until they reach 2,000 miles (or 4 thousand if they also didn't reach the minimum time). You can't go by the website alone, you have to talk to someone at the site (and not just the chat support from the website that all Ford dealers seem to outsource as they don't know what they can actually sell). That said, there are some out there from cancels and cascading cancels (when someone gets one off the lot from a cancel and then cancels their order).

Majority of those aren't for sale. A good number of them are online orders that show up as "for sale" on dealer websites when in fact, they're not (unless the person who ordered it backed out). Case in point: my Mach E as finally arrived at the dealership and is going through pre delivery inspection. It showed up on the dealer website "for sale". Most are dummy listings.

Does anyone have a running total for the Mach E sales since inception? Trying to see where we are in terms of the phase out for the EV credit. Also does each trim level contribute to the same threshold of vehicle limits for the EV credit or different? Some external sites that show the phase out limits list the trim levels separately indicating it would take much longer to reach.

Ford is at 134,195 at the end of Q1, probably at 140K at Q2. With the F150 Electric and ramp up I would think the tax credit would be gone in 2022 for sure

The Federal EV credit is not based on model or trim. It is based on aggregate vehicle unit sales, independent of model. So, to compare where Ford is, you need to know the domestic sales numbers for all qualifying Ford vehicles.
