It's better be without bugs. I don't want to see hoods flying on the highway.

Maybe the person you're opening it for has their hands full? Maybe you want the trunk to be open ASAP as the other person is approaching the car? Same reason for the kick to open trunk - if your hands are full. I've used it dozens of times in the C-Max Energi before, and expect to do the same with the MME.Why do people need a button to open the rear hatch anyway? I've never had to do that once. If you're opening it for yourself, just use the actual button there. If you're doing it for someone else, they can use that button.
Internet Rule #17: Never say “Why do people need…”. People will always have a reason. Why do people need a button to open the rear hatch anyway? I've never had to do that once. You don’t live in an area that gets heavy rain, do you? If I have to get groceries out of the cargo area, and it’s raining, I don’t want to stand around waiting for the hatch to open when I could have had it opening while I was walking back there. Why do people need a button to open the rear hatch anyway? Personally, I wish I could remap either the park assist, which I never use, or the physical max defrost to pop the hatch.Ford needs to put the hatch release next to the park assist and flashers near the shifter. That way when my JRT steps on the flashers and activates the park assist with its little paws it can also open the trunk.
Rest assured that everyone will notice the smell of rotten shrimp well before trade in time.I forgot I had a Frunk. 100% chance that whatever is in there will be forgotten at trade in time.
Actually, the Mustang Mach E front trunk does get warm. It would be nice if there was some way to climate control it (not refrigerate it) so you could use it to carry groceries home in the summer.Rest assured that everyone will notice the smell of rotten shrimp well before trade in time.
I want someone (not me) to test dry ice in the frunk. Might look cool with vapor pouring out from the drain as you drive home.Actually, the Mustang Mach E front trunk does get warm. Until recently, my daughter was too short to reach the button so having a way to close it from the driver's seat in line at the school pick-up line is nice. Why do people need a button to open the rear hatch anyway? If you ever find that setting, let us know. I'd love to have that.I believe it's a setting, not sure which one, but you can have that screen pop up when you stop... I don't remember when since it's already setup for me. Might be under vehicle, or general.
*Edit - cannot seem to locate it now, so maybe it's just a default for me.. I get that screen every time I turn off the car.
I wish I could. Not sure why it always pops up for me but it is super convenient...If you ever find that setting, let us know. I'd love to have that.
Mine is an MMD, but just a base GT.My GT is MME. I think GTPE are MMD
