Build date 12/20. Got 1.6.0 this morning. Did not see anything different in the car other than the software page showing 1.6.0

Build date Nov 18.
I think I remember one OTA about 2 months ago but nothing apparent to me since that time.
Received this notice today.

I just got 1.6.0 today. Not sure why it took so long?

I got 1.6.0 yesterday evening. It showed up right after I stopped at hibachi to pick up dinner yesterday after work.

It and 1.4.0 seem to download install when I'm on my commute (they showed up right after a power cycle), which is somewhat strange, but I know these updates didn't require wifi...

@breeves002 was kind enough to look it up for me and says it's 1.6. I haven't been in the car since I got the notification to see what the big screen shows.
So then today this happened:

Build: 04/2021
OTA: 1.4.0

I am interested in this. (Europe/ The Netherlands).
From what I know, the following parameters are involved in receiving the update.
Now, we wait on official confirmation by @Ford Motor Company :

* Geographical location
* Availability for wifi while charging(!) : Low latency connection is required due to large dependent module packages supplies by Ford backend services (so it seems). 4G / LTE will not be sufficient... My personal use-case of only using public charging (no home charging) excludes me from SOME updates. (no Wifi) Is this the case?
* Being on a managed VIN list
* Their relationship with the dealers providing the service of updating the car 'free of charge' (overnight or for a couple of hours/days)

My questions is : If Ford is serious with CI/CD (continuous integration continuous delivery) what is their formal policy on this? Are we entitled (yes, I use this word deliberately) to ALL updates? Or only re-actively (after noting this yourself and making an appointment with a Ford dealership without any clear guidelines who will pay for this.) to updates?

A watched pot never boils? Built in 4/21 and I was anxiously waiting for my first OTA, mostly just to be sure OTAs worked. Checking daily and was always disappointed.

Finally on Sunday I decided that I was over it and figured it'll happen eventually or I'll end up with a service appointment. Well on Monday I took the family out for a day trip and funny enough the car updated while parked in a parking garage in the middle of the day.

So build date 4/21, delivery on 6/13/21, and my first OTA (1.6) on 8/2/21.

I received the update even though I didn't enable the WiFi connection.
Maybe that is why the update screwed up my charge, departure and battery conditioning functions?
Hmm....

Car needs to be driven regularly to get the updates, if its sitting parked for days in deep sleep it might not pull the trigger for various reasons. 12V battery needs to be recently charged up and you need to be in AT&T LTE coverage area. When the update is triggered for you, the car has 72 hours to download and install it before it expires and another trigger is generated. The assumption is most people would be driving the car every 72 hours or more in most cases.

I think most updates will come over AT&T LTE, only the very large GB updates like SYNC or the BlueCruise/camera module (IPMA module) updates will need WiFi.

The total time to download and execute the 1.6.0 update is only a few minutes, so it's possible that could have caused a disruption. I think it tries to do it after you shut down the car after a trip but not 100% sure yet.

And on 8/5/21 I received my second OTA (1.4)!

I drive it every day (even if it's just a few miles) and while at home I practice ABC (always be charging). I don't think I've ever hit deep sleep.
