I just don't know better because my seat of the pants meter isn't tuned well.
That right there is why I don't really care about the times or trap speeds. Will it feel good when I'm driving it? I'm fairly certain its a resounding yes. I'm not going to track this car so all of that noise, although is an interesting datapoint, is pretty irrelevant to my needs.

and frankly, all the whining, arguing and bitching about it really brings this site down to twitter levels of no thanks.

it's an identified issue, all the crying in the world isn't going to fix it. people need have some faith in Ford or buy something else.

not directed at you Dave, just furthering my thoughts on your post. cheers.

Weren't they the ones who were sitting weirdly?
No, that was Straight Pipes. In their follow up review he basically said his knee/seating is fine now if I remember correctly.

For a lot of people it won't be an issue, the butt dyno will make it feel fast regardless, However I disagree on the moaning at Ford, when marketing goes down the path of using terminology like performance edition and marketing slogans that use terms like NOTHING IN ITS CLASS ACCELERATES FASTER, along with comparisons to the model Y.

So for those people that like the performance numbers of the Y but don't like the looks or what tesla has to offer and chose the GTPE then they can quite rightly have expectations of it living up to the marketing and continue to put Fords feet to the fire over it, Ford after all have a presence on the forum, it doesn't take much to make a comment even if it is a token one.

I see people being able to easily air issues as nothing but a positive attribute and a sign of a healthy forum that people don't sugar coat things. Sure it would be a problem if every thread on the forum was filled with nothing but comments on GTPE performance woes, but these comments are limited to the relevant threads.

1 & 2, look i get the issue. people paid for something, and they feel like they aren't getting it. that's a big no-no in 2021.

3 i completely agree here as well. maybe i just need to stay out of those threads. it feels like....

hope you compare your experience to the standardized laps by an independent professional driver on the Michigan test course.

thank you sir ?
Please note while this "Police prototype" Mach E has GT PE rims, it has an interior from the standard GT (not GT-PE). It certainly looks like they put the sticker Summer PE tires and rims from a PE on a standard GT.
