The fact that they are announcing this to dealers seems to indicate that their confidence in the OTA working is fairly high. Hopefully this means they've solved some issues there

I don't think I'd go that far. Remember when they announced that the PaaK update would be available via OTA several months ago???

?? Well let me rephrase. Either their level of confidence is higher, or they are just exceptionally bad at PR and didn't learn from their mistakes

Ahh I can help with the translation because I’ve learned to speak “developer”. You see, December is a term that actually means some time in Q1. January is a more general term meaning likely next year. Hope that helps ?

My point is that anything that Ford said in the past few months got changed after their new hire, shown by the slowing rollout of BlueCruise, promised repeatedly and now next year. Everything is slowed down.

Ford actually has officially changed it to “frunk”, and that’s what the button now says.
