Job 1 cars don’t have it yet.
And nobody has clearly defined “job 1”. Are they the vehicles ford is already orphaning? ?

Vehicles built before June 18th. Ford is not orphaning them. It remains to be seen if the OTA for the frunk button will really start rolling out in late December as the bulletin states, but it’s clear that Ford has every intention of doing it.

How often do you use the frunk, and for what?
Multiple x a week. All grocery bags (since we have no cargo net option) and any takeout goes in there!!! No odors allowed in the cabin. Family have been "beaten into submission" (so to speak); wife walked straight up to the hood with her Chipotle the other day with out me having to say anything. VICTORY IS MINE!!!

Teenagers in the house; so that's my one area of refuge!!! (no shoes to trip over, no half empty water bottles on the counter, no dirty dishes left in sink, ect.......) The cabin of my MME is my santuary. LOL!!!

Yes, yes, yes. I know I own the left-handed step child that Ford is trying to abandon at a Tesla dealership. Ford’s attitude about the early Mustang Mach Es (and their owners) seems to be “if we pretend they don’t exist, maybe they’ll give up and be quiet.”
My car was in for sw update today. (13 modules) The tech that did it told me that my car doesn’t have a solenoid to open the frunk remotely…. So no 5th button on the phone for me. I’m wondering if I can add it as an after market part…. Hmmmm

My car was built on June 2nd. Tech at the dealership told me today that there is no solenoid in my car so no remote frunk for me….

If that is the case then you are the only one. Maybe they thought you were asking about a solenoid to actually make the frunk open like the lightning gets?

Don’t the “jumper cables” behind the front bumper hatch trigger the solenoid?

There is a solenoid in all MMEs, it's how children escape when they push the escape button.
