Mine was just rejected twice. Working on the cars at night? ?
Maybe the employee working on yours is in a bad mood?

What else can I see with this FordPass access? I see it's 49% charged, with 7 miles on the odometer, and according to the map, it seems to be out in a parking lot, near what could be train tracks, but maybe that's just wishful thinking:

I really dont think these dates mean anything at this point. It was 12/31 till like Jan 5th. then changed to 1/31 on Jan10th n then today Jan 13th its changed to 02/18.
I am so disillusioned by Ford. I thought a legacy car maker with 100+ years experience with producing cars would be better at keeping their shit together and communicating with customers. Terrible first experience for me with Ford.

Yep. They REALLY should have done what Tesla does. Not assign you a vin/car until they've built one and then they assign it to whoever has been waiting longest for that exact spec / build.

Exactly. Seems like an extremely common sense thing to do!
these dealer allocations and some states getting preferences etc. makes no sense. first come first serve! may be if they gave preference to higher end trims like GTPE, GT etc. would still make sense.

what they are doing now makes no sense at all.

I am closely watching the 01/03 build forum. I also have access to my original order which i cancelled which transitioned to 2022 and went into production 01/05/2022.
if any of the 2022s show up as built before our lot if taken care of, i will officially lose my mind!! :)

Right now everyone is In Production with modules showing only.

I really hate to say it but if I correctly understand the way Ford’s allocation system works, it is a real likelihood that MY22s will be sold before us MY21 customers. Ford isn’t going to keep a car ready to ship at the plant because some MY21 vehicles are waiting on chips or other parts. If a dealer’s allocation allows for them to receive a MY22 that’s ready to ship, Ford will send that MY22 while they wait on parts for the MY21.

The logistics are fuzzy though. If a MY22 can be fully built and ready to ship, why wasn’t that MY22’s part(s) given to the MY21 to ship it. In this case, it could be trim differences that allows the MY22 to ship before a MY21.

For example, my MY21 GT has been sitting at the plant for weeks now. If a MY22 Premium has all the trim parts needed to complete the build, it will happen before my GT is finished. I don’t know what the hold up is for mine. My rep told me the car is “produced” but I have gotten a email saying it is built.

The silver lining in it for me is that my bank account can continue to grow without a current car payment. I’ll be able to save up a nice down payment, if I choose to make one. I might just keep the money fluid and move the payment difference between no down payment vs down payment to the monthly car payment budget each month. It also gives me more time to decide which financing option to choose. I have to decide if I’m gonna make it a lifer car or get rid of it in 3 or 4 years.

I just got an update from my rep. My ETA has updated to 2/04/22 to 2/10/22 from 1/8/22. The website tracker still shows 1/8/22 so it appears to be slow to update.
