Was this not out 6 months ago, or am I missing what's different about this?

What Ford really needs to do is allow us to purchase Kw's from them at like $0.25 price, use Ford points, Earn Kwh's . If they can add 250kw to our accounts why can't we buy Kw for our account?
Buying 100kWh at a time at a discount would be nice. Load up your FordPass like a Starbucks card. I'd have to guess it's coming.

It was announced many months ago, but it didn't actually get implemented until this week. We've been waiting months for it to show up as an option in Connected Services.

Curious... I heard the new Ioniq 5 had plug and charge too, but doesn't charge to use it. Will the Blue Oval Network have any other charging vendors outside of just EA?
Probably, eventually. But EA is by far the most homogeneous network, so it's probably the easiest to implement.
Already does, and has had before it became Blue Oval.

Greenlots
Electrify America
EV Connect
ChargePoint
SemaCharge
FLO
EVGo

Over 19,500 charging stations with 63,000 plugs. https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...rging/where-can-i-charge-my-electric-vehicle/

However, the free 250 hours (500 for some) is only at EA.

I thought he just meant Plug & Charge. So far it's only Electrify America and Greenlots that P&C works on.

At least it shows Greenlots as the other place. I've never even seen one as they're not in my part of the country. I don't even remember anyone reporting using P&C successfully on Greenlots, but it shows up in the app so I assume it works there.

The first post clearly says that the pay as you go aspect is available at 19,500 stations. That implies that Plug and Charge would work at every company listed.

I have not tried to use Plug and Charge beyond my free, now used up, 250 hours. I use EA's app for their lower rate, and ChargePoint's app for the one time I charged there. I have never charged at any of the other networks.

Go into FordPass , Vehicle, Charging, Blue Oval, Plug & Charge. That's where it lists the currently-compatible networks. You'll see only EA and Greenlots available so far.

All those other networks' stations do show up in the navigation though. But they're not all P&C capable (yet).

That's two separate things. Paying for charging and Plug and Charge are different. You can pay for charging via the FordPass app at any BlueOval Network location. You just cannot Plug and Charge at all of them.

Plug and Charge just automates the step of activating the charger to pay for charging that you normally would have to do manually via FordPass.

Plug and Charge steps:
1. Plug
2. Charge

BlueOval Network via Ford Pass steps:
1. Locate and Activate charger in FordPass
2. Plug
3. Charge

I don't want to sign up to EA discount for a year. I want the flexibility of month to month membership in EA for $4 / month. Sign up when you need it / cancel when you don't need it. No deal Ford.

Question... Do the FREE Electrify America hours have an expiration date? Do they have to be used within one year?

I've been using the EA account for a while now. I signed up for it thinking I would cancel when I didn't need it but I seem to use it at least once a month. Activating the session via holding my phone near the reader or initiating it via the app both work just fine for me. I don't feel like it takes any longer, realistically, than P&C

Complimentary charging (i.e. using the network) expires after 2 years, so you should use them by then.

While 250 kWh sounds like a lot, it's roughly driving 750 miles. If you never drive anywhere but local, then it might be tough to use them if you have no local EA charger, but go on a trip and they disappear quite quickly.

Last pic, looks like he has a little "Don King" working there. I had no idea a Poodle was a hunting dog!!! #CityKid
It’s what they were bred for over 2000 years ago. The original web-footed retriever. ??
