I’ve been basically refreshing my order page since 8am (oops) and it JUST updated! Production date of 3/7! Also, I did not get an email from Ford (not yet at least).

Shadow Black, Premium Ext Battery RWD.
Order Date: 8/27/21
Changed to 22' model: 10/25/21
Production Date: 3/7/22

I have not received an email yet. However, I did order online/have received emails in the past so not sure why not.

I ordered my MME GTPE on 12/31...just logged into Ford's website and see it is scheduled for 3/21 production...who knows if this will actually happen, but it is encouraging in any case.

Ordered CA RT 1 on 10/26 and still nothing. Looks like people who ordered non-GT and are getting a production date placed an order on 10/1 or earlier.

Just noticed my 6/12/2021 order has a production date of 3/28/2022. At some point in October it was changed from a 2021 to a 2022. Last week of the listed builds but I'll take it.

No email about the production date.

Still no email this am but I called Ford Customer Service. They were able to provide me a VIN number but not a production date. They told me I had to contact the dealer for that. I also tried to add the vehicle to my previously existing myford account but it would not take.

Update: the dealer does not have a production date showing on their side either. The best he could offer was that ford said my vehicle was going to be in the next round of emails for a production date. They had no additional information and a “email would be coming from ford. “ They are in the dark too.

side note: they were expecting 20-30 Lightnings when produced and just were told it will be 2-3.

Select RWD ordered 11/12… still no date so I will also be well over 20 weeks.

I guess the earliest possible delivery for me now is around May, assuming I get an early April build date during the next scheduling round, which would be 26 to 28 weeks. But, that’s assuming I get scheduled next round…

My current car lease is up at around the 31 week mark, so I’ll have to start brainstorming options if I don’t get scheduled in the next few rounds!

WTF is going on?
People here are getting orders that they placed less than 6 months ago and you are all getting your cars! (Dont get me wrong im happy for you, it is ford im pissed at)
I placed my order back at the begining of April 21 and still nothing.
Even got bumped to a MY22 and reconfirmed my order!
Who knows of a high volume Mach-E dealership near Dayton Ohio.
Im thinking of moving my order to another dealership!

I ordered 10/28/21.....I texted my Salesguy at Folsom lake Ford, CA
He sent me a screenshot last wk of build date 2/14/22

Email recv from Ford today and confirmed the build date is 2/14/22......Salesguy also said, it takes 4-6 wks after built date.....I also got a Vin # for GTPE.....Can't wait

Wish me luck as I will be the first in my neighborhood not to have an ugly Tesla Model 3 or Y......LOL
