Has anyone had the Xpel Stealth PFF installed on their MachE?

We just bought a C40 for my wife in Fjord Blue and I really want to give it a satin finish like my MachE. We love the color so no color change wrap.
I’ve seen plenty of videos on before/after but looking for some local forum perspective if anyone has had this applied to their MachE or other cars.

I tried ChasingCoral’s methods. It doesnt return much of anything other than this guy from Washington, and a couple other people, asking if anyone had used it.

I haven't had it done to mine, but that's only because I had the regular Expel ppf installed on both my cars before I found out there was a Stealth version!

The new installer I use does it a lot so I've seen it installed on many cars now and If I could do it over again on mine I would go Stealth 100%. I stop at the install shop every week for installs I send from our dealership, and every time I see one I consider having the PPF removed on mine and redone in the Stealth but I had ceramic coating done too so it would be quite the bullet to bite.

I say get the Stealth you won't regret it.

Just this morning I was working to convince myself I didn’t need it. Damn you!! ?
If you don’t mind - what did you xpel cost (where about are you located)? Did you do full car I assume?
I paid 4K for my wrap, with additional costs for stripes and ceramic. So I’m curious what a full xpel would cost compared to a full color change wrap. I’ve heard it’s more; but no direct experience.

Haha! Sorry!

I'm in Rocklin, Northern California. I didn't do the full car on the Mach-E, I did the full front end including lights and mirror caps, door edges and as much of the black glossy trim as possible. ( b and c pillars/handles, black roof strips, black side rockers ) Cost was around $2300 for the Expel plus around $1500 for the ceramic coating. The full Expel Stealth is around $5-6k on this car from what I've been told.

The color change wrap cost here was about the same as what you paid so you should be in the same ball park as me.

Thanks for the details!! Much appreciated.
Now to sell it to the wife as paint protection…. with style!

The shop that did my PPF and tint (Hyer Quality Detail) does Stealth regularly on high-end cars. Their IG is full of Lambos, Ferraris, etc. getting them done. They recently did one on a black Lucid Air. My opinion is that it looks really good on darker colors but not so much on bright or moderate colors.

I put XPEL PPF on my full front end, the rocker panels, all the pillars, the door sills, and a portion of the back bumper. I also added cermaic coating on all of the car. I ABSOLUTELY love it. If I ever get another new car, I would do it again. No regrets! Well worth the initial cost to protect a $50K plus car's paint job. It added protection from the typical road chips. I am not washing my car but simply wiping it down with washless car spray. This is an added benefit since I hated washing cars.
My tip is to really research the detailers in your area and the costs. Cost is not a measure of quality but they do vary greatly. Ask around to friends, the forum, family, etc about that PPF detailer. Finally, make sure you feel "warm and fuzzy" that they are going to do it right the first time and honor any issues. I looked at two PPF installers and chose the person that I felt the most comfortable with. I am all about relationships. They did do it right and the minor issues, me being picky, they fixed. The other detailer, that I did not pick....well I have now heard some bad stories about installations gone wrong.

For those that have had the Xpel Stealth installed, what do you suggest installing on the black trim areas, front grill area, etc.? Would you do the Stealth there, or go with a glossy PPF? I should specify that this will be for a GTPE Nite in Vapor Blue, which will have the darker grill area.
