I am reconsidering the Mach Drop now. I ordered a Grabber Blue FE but I still have my GT reservation as well. Now it is a matter if I stay in the FE or drop it and wait for the GT. Switching to a Premium would delay my order to probably the same time as the GT.

Having the car this year to claim the tax credit now would be nice. However, for $3,600 you only get over the AWD Extended Range Premium:
- Color matched wheel arches
- Color matched mirror caps
- First Edition kick plates
- Red painted brake calibers front and back,
- Metal pedal covers
- Contrast stitching on the seats
- Delivery probably in 2020

Decisions, decisions, decisions....
You placed this order, now found out it is $1000 less, and now want to cancel. The phrase cut off your nose to spite your face comes to mind. (by the way I am in the same exact boat as you with the gt and fe orders)

ugg . . . just build the dam things already!

I promise my dealer will NOT contact me about this. I'll have to be proactive and contact him via phone. My emails will be ignored.
Ditto.

FWIW I did manage to get on the Ford reservation website around 7 am Hawaiian time this morning and the changes were made.

I agree, but not sure what is left to add. I think the Bronco FE has a lot of bells & whistles which is why it is at the top of the pricing.
Floor mats? Free charging for 3 years? Free wireless hotspot 3 years? Free maps & navigation subscriptions for as long as I own the car? Free Co-Pilot Assist Hands-Free OTA update?

I can definitely think of Bells & Whistles they could throw in.

Unless Ford Motor Company is going to start making explicit directives to its dealers or directly selling to those with existing orders, completely bypassing the dealers altogether from start to finish, I can guarantee you that there will be more than a few that will not honor X plan or anything else unless they're threatened with losing their franchise.

And some of us have only two choices deal with that type of dealer or cancel/not order.

I have Premium ER AWD on order. I'm excited to see $3000 discount. It's great. (I put down $100 for ID.4 1st reservation. The price difference was just too much. But I'm more excited about Mach E now.)

For those with an FE order, I can understand the argument on both sides. On one hand, it is $1000 discount. (Imagine you didn't come to this forum and missed Ford's upcoming email, and found out about the $1000 at delivery time.) On the other hand, it hurts to know that the difference between Premium and FE is now $2000 more. I guess it depends on whether you're a glass-half-full or glass-half-empty person. @trutolife27 cannot say any more, but did give us a wink. Maybe there's something pleasant waiting for those of you with an FE order.

Maybe, just maybe, $2000 is how much Ford is going to charge for Hands Free?

It's interesting what Ford has done and peoples' reactions from a human psychology point of view.

There is actually a known phenomenon of people being displeased about not getting as much as others, even when they are objectively getting a better deal than they had before. Basically, people would often prefer to be treated fairly and justly, to the point of giving up a financial benefit to keep everyone on an equal footing.

The difference in my mind is just from a procedural and marketing standpoint. A surplus to me would mean that they would make more cars than they would sell, and have cars waiting to be sold, in which in this case I don't think will happen because of limited run.

Priced out of the market means some will cancel because the price is too high. The dealers would still sell them but they'd rather not have a bunch of cancellations and could be a PR nightmare.
