Dealers are not allowed to order FE. Can a worker at a dealer order one for themself? Yes, be kinda weird if not. A dealer is not allowed to order one to sale though.
That was the first FE built on the line that will be sold to a customer.
Dealer FCTP are not finished yet and are being built now. What ford is doing is working a few FE down the line to build with the dealer demo vehicles.
Why? I think I explained this to everyone once before. Certain models of a vehicle take longer to build going down the line than other models. So to keep the line running they will run say 3 to 5 of a certain trim level then build a FE.
The demo models are not done yet, no sir. In fact, ford has been getting into dealers ass. Some didn't turn in their order for the dealer FCTP, or did it wrong, or then call and want changes.
Some dealers just are lost in the process.
As far as the first edition 3,000 goes. That is the number that was on the report from dearborn. I did push the issue and asked about the mache drop numbers. didn't see it anywhere but two of my engineer friends said they are not included in the 3,000. So how many are in the Mache drop sorry can't say, people. I do know that ford had extra parts manufactured. The decision was either to scrap the parts or to make more. So whoever does get a FE from the mache drop ford did that right.
Yes, some dealers will not see A FE that is a fact. My dealer won't. Only have 3 Mache orders.
The heat pump is not a done deal but in talks. Trying to get more mileage for the GT with the power it has.
OKTB is still the same date and the same rules. DEMO models are the same they won't leave the lot also.
