I just got back from seeing it. Had about 45-mins with it to sit in and play with buttons. Couldn't ride in it and I couldn't convince anyone to help me steal it. I guess grand-theft auto is a felony, I don't know. Anyway, here are my stream of conscious notes:

+ This car is very well-built with a premium feel.
+ Touchscreen is very responsive
+ Lots of room in both the front and rear seats of the interior, more than my C-Max. Cargo area as well.
+ The cell phone charging area seemed big enough for almost all phones. If you want, you can take that little rubber mat out for cleaning or if your phone is too big.
+ When putting in nav destinations, it will automatically add chargers if needed (this is an option).
+ Seats are more comfortable than my C-Max.
+ Lots of different settings and configuration options.
+ Passenger seat is also power adjustable
+ Door handles are very nice. I actually prefer it over any other car's handles. It's effortless and I think easier to use when hands are full.
+ A few lights on the rear lift gate pointing at you and into the car when opened. They have little pony's too!
+ @macchiaz-o took a picture of the center screen describing what L does, I'll let him post it.
+ You could zoom into each individual camera on the display.
* It's an extended range AWD premium, showing 268 miles of range.
* I didn't see any Aux or line-in connector anywhere
* Top glass was warm to the hand to touch but I didn't feel heat radiate through it. Although the sun wasn't beating in to it either.
- Rear visibility is not great although rear headrests are removable.
- It has dimples in the front to help align a front-license plate holder, which I don't need in Arizona. More of an OCD issue really.
- Cover was missing on the front cam washer. Not sure if it was broken by someone or it's supposed to be that way, but looked sort of odd close-up.
? For some reason the horn honked every time the door was shut. My C-Max will do that if the key is not inside but only when the last door is shut. Not sure if that is some sort of setting or what.
? Plotted a trip to Disneyland in the Nav system and it automatically added L2 chargers. I don't know if there was some setting that said it preferred L2 over L3 or what the deal was. There are tons of options and didn't get a chance to peruse them all.

Can someone who was there today comment on the size comparison? If you had to liken the overall size to another common vehicle on the road today. Is it, Subaru Outback sized? Bigger?

Was there today also. The interior is more white than gray, but the nice thing is about the color is that it matches the headliner and A pillars. It is a 'cooling' color that really sets part the interior features. I have a similar color in my Camry, and trust me, it does NOT get dirty or discolored. One customer there today had his order changed to the lighter interior color after seeing it. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!
Excellent !

Yeah as you can see from @zhackwyatt's post, we were there at the same time. And in matching @Mach-E VLOG t-shirts. :)

Excellent run down from @zhackwyatt. Not sure what to add, as he hit all the important stuff. So here's lots of smaller stuff.

It's quite obviously bigger than my Fiesta, but not as much as I'd pictured in my mind. This is a good thing (imo).

The wheels and tires look HUGE to me. Definitely part of either the SUV (more likely) or Mustang (less likely) design influences.

There are mustangs everywhere. I mean like all over the place. Lift a rubber mat and you might find another hidden mustang.

This was a Premium 4X, but the rear hatch floor is height adjustable. So that might blow one of our theories about RWD vs AWD cargo capacity. That puzzle might not be solved until we can check out multiple models side by side.

Some of the panel gaps looked less than perfect to me. Nothing at Tesla level though. Nothing I'd complain about. Although... The frunk hood has a bit of an overbite. It's consistent with all MMEs we've seen so far, so a design decision... But was noticeable.

Lots of soft materials.

The glove box and center console storage bins are small.

The touch screen glass is pretty warm.

Tons of settings and so forth in the sync system. Very highly customizable. Display felt responsive, too.

Frunk was difficult to close. Have to push down pretty hard. The salesman was told it is a preproduction car and stuff like that might be different in production. It has the frunk dividers though, so can't have been built too terribly long ago.

Charge door is pleasing to open, ho him to close.

Headrests and rear hatch cargo screen are easy to remove. Rear headrests can only slide up and down (including center headrest). No forward/aft tilting or folding.

Front headrests have very simple mechanism to tilt forward/aft.

I thought interior materials looked fantastic. I liked the light interior and the material choices.

The fabric over the speakers looks fragile but feels quite sturdy when you touch it.

I don't think there's any built in lumbar support adjustment.

I forgot to try folding forward the front passenger seat, but since it's 6-way power adjustable like the driver seat, I doubt it will fold forward.

I'll post some pictures soon.

Now if I was only there yesterday, they had a Bronco Sport as well as the MME. They said the two vehicles showed up unannounced. They are traveling around the country, and not sure the salesperson knew everything;), but he said there is more than one going around for these surprise visits.

Thanks for the details - very helpful. My ideal size preference would be similar to Ford Edge (I really liked the Edge and had it for 10 years) but this size being closer to the Escape would do too - as you said - smaller is better in some ways .

I found a Ford logo. Also, this shows you the hatch open with and without the cargo screen installed. It is trivial to remove and replace the screen (and the load floor shelf piece). One person can handle either task in a few seconds.

Low "gear" puts you someplace between 1-pedal driving and not-1-pedal driving.

Interesting - so it works like regular Low gear - but the last sentence is a bit confusing - does it mean it is ignored when in 1 pedal drive Or does it over ride 1 pedal drive - not clear

Hmm, that looks like it's from a builtin electronic owner's manual??? If so, we need more pages!

I understand it as Drive and Low behave equivalently while in 1-pedal mode. There is no reason to switch to Low while in 1PD.
