For folks going to these shows: please measure the Frunk space (without dividers).

Make a search on brembo flexira caliper ?
Thank you. I had no idea that was even a thing. 400 grams of savings per corner is awesome. Neat technology and certainly applicable for EV use.

I wondered the same thing about the oval logo. Probably a pre-production thing....

Installing DCFC there doesn't make sense to me either. Especially since they are in SRP service area. If it were APS then it would make sense since they would pay for it but SRP doesnt have that same program incentives running right now

I dont have any affiliation with San Tan other than my uncle worked for their sister dealership Rich Ford in Albuquerque N.M. for over 20 years. Retired now though. I do know that San Tan is EV certified and seem competent as best as I can tell.

One Saturday in late Spring 2019, I went shopping at IKEA and the A/C stopped working on my FFE. It was late afternoon so when I got home I logged onto San Tan's website and scheduled a service appointment for Monday morning.

On Sunday, I drove the vehicle to their dealership which was closed for the day and left the car there with key fob in the drop box.

At 6 am on Monday I get a call from Ford in Michigan asking if I was having any problem with the vehicle and I told the lady my story. She gave me a service code and asked me to share it with San Tan when they opened for business later that morning.

I went to work on Monday like normal and called the dealership around 8:30 ish. They offered to deliver a rental vehicle to me at any place in the valley. Any vehicle they had in stock. Super Duty, Mustang, whatever. I politely declined.

Later that day I received a survey type request from Ford with some very specific questions. I remember one item asked if the dealership had any stickers displayed to identify them as EV Certified and they showed me a photo of what that looks like. When I went to pick up my car later that week, I looked for it but didnt see anything.

There was a second, follow up survey after I got my car back. I answered the questions and returned the information to Ford. I later found out from my uncle that San Tan was dinged for not calling me on Saturday afternoon to offer a flat bed tow and for not displaying their EV Certification at their dealership.

I think the not towing my car is a bit unfair but the sticker thing I can understand.

I thought you might find that story interesting....
Interesting indeed - if anything it indicates Ford is taking the service aspect of their EVs seriously and it may bode well for customers.

For those that saw the car today.....Did anyone notice the large Ford oval on the exterior of the vehicle?
That's actually very disappointing to me, for a very "Mustang" reason. A few years ago I saw a documentary on the Mustang, and one of the things that the Ford folks said was about how important it was that "Mustang" was a sub-brand, which is why you see no Ford branding anywhere - it's ponies all the way down. It's why Sync shows the pony and not the Ford oval, for example. I know someone had a picture of a little baby Ford oval on a part label, and that one doesn't bother me since it's somewhat hidden and I expect part labels to do that. But a large-ish one on the windshield like that? BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

(and no, I'm not saying "Boo-urns.")

At least it's smaller and harder to notice than these ones (wheels, too!).

I think I'm in a minority here, but I think those Fox-body convertibles are pretty good looking.

Take a look at the photo of MP1 cars that ChasingCoral posted. Today is your lucky day.....

Seeing as we're told it's another "preproduction prototype," and so far none of the computer renderings include that blue oval, I'm holding out a little hope for when we get to see final production units arrive.

Here's a rendering showing the windshield. I can't see any logo.

And here's a closer shot of the frunk -- it looks more well put together than what I saw yesterday. The unit visiting Phoenix has several more plastic panels that can be removed than what is shown here, and they didn't have great fit/finish to them. Plus the frunk organizer shown here has a big pony and some bag hooks and so forth... But that yellow cap on the washer fluid? That seems weird. The PP I saw had a blue cap which seems more expected.

I believe these images are from computer renderings. Having said that I dont think they would deviate that much from these renderings as I think these renderings are based on actual part designs - so its surprising that they are different but who knows - may be they are still working through or were working through the dividers when that prototype was built.

I haven't seen any real dividers with pony cutouts yet. I want my pony-clad Frunk divider!

Now that is what Ford should do if they dont want customers to remove them dividers - after all who would buy a Pony EV and remove parts that have a Pony on it - right

Plus it adds to the pony count. The more pony power the better I always say.....

Any feedback on screen and fingerprints? In these strange times, I imagine they're wiping the cars down between showings pretty thoroughly. I really don't like the look of screens with lots of fingerprints.

I didnt notice any fingerprints until the vehicle was shut off. Then you could see something was there. While turned in it wasnt an issue at all
