06/20/22 - GWM Job2 & OBCC Job1 & 2 Updates

Looks like 2.8.2 is not the newest GWM version, it is the one from a few weeks ago which broke @DevSecOps charging data.

I already had VINs for two of the users who posted receiving the OTA today. They are now showing a current version which matches the last update (-EAH updated to -EKN) and still show the new update as being available in FDRS.

I thought it was in the thread somewhere. The latest went from EKN to EKR. I'll post a link to your GWM issue post in the 2.8.2 in case people have issues. Burst the bubbles of the Job 2 EA group.

From my post it's only happening to some people, not everyone. I'm not sure why it happened to some of us and not others. I just spoke with @benk016 who also confirmed 2.8.2 is the old GWM on his car, but he still has charge data.

Job 2 from August and the only update I've ever received was the Blue cruise maps for 2022

They really need to do a better job at getting these things synced up and shipping the OTAs

They're always batch released, generally to Early Access people first. It has barely been out OTA, give it sometime before complaining that they need to do a better job.

Nothing against this latest release specifically, I'm just kinda desperate for anything at this point. Alternatively, better communication to know what to expect would be really appreciated too

this is clearly all made up, all this Job 2 update stuff, since I've been assured by experts (TM) elsewhere on this very site that Ford has completely forgotten all Job 2 vehicles exist, and they will never get any updates, ever. So, fess up, you're just making all this up, aren't you?

Joking aside, have we ever figured out why Job 2 vehicles didn't get any updates (other than BlueCruise) until this past week? Hasn't 2.8.2 been out for quite a while? Even 2.8.3 went out to EA folks more than a week ago.
