Where do you get that I don't like the car?

As I stated elsewhere in the thread, it would be very valuable for me to have this outlet, as my laptop needs 250W which a 12V power port + inverter cannot deliver as it would blow the fuse.

The EcoSport offers the outlet. Their cheapest vehicle. Less than half the price of the Mach-E.

Am I supposed to accept everything the way it is?
Where have you seen the rating of the 12V fuse? They make 12V car inverters that handle over 250W, you should only need to not get a cheap 150W inverter.

I would like a 120 volt ac outlet, but it would have to be a real one. Don’t waste my time with less than 1000 watts. ...400 watts in F150, I hope they fix that. I think the chargers for my cordless tools is 500 watts.

Um if you want to go for the gusto the 2021 F-150 has a 240V outlet good for 7kW (optional)! Ford advertises that you can run a welder off of it.

Don't count on that change in the 2021 models.

I was expecting a 240V NEMA outlet in the MME so I’d be able to plug it in and charge it on the road when the battery ran low. I’m going to have to reconsider my purchase decision since Ford has apparently decided not to include this obvious accessory outlet! ????

All of these demo models seem to have relatively straight and even body panel gaps. That is certainly a relief compared to the mess tesla presents.
Strange how investing in quality control yields results like that, isn't it? When you prioritize delivery numbers instead of quality, your product suffers

Wait, WHAT? $58,300 and it doesn't have an AC outlet?? Fords half the price have them!

I can't believe I didn't know that until today. I just assumed it had to have one. After all the hype they put out on the 2021 F-150 having outlets everywhere you look including in the bed, they don't give their other new "electrified" car even one???

Ugh, this is so frustrating to be unable to charge laptops on the road.
I think they put the USB-C connectors in the front and rear for laptop power.

It didn't feel like I was stepping down into a sedan. It felt very similar to getting into my Outlander PHEV and the Jeep Cherokee I had before that. Probably about a 6 or 7 on that scale.
Did anyone else that has sat inside think the footwell area was pretty deep? I found my shoe catching by the kickplate area when I was getting out the car.

While the seat height seemed totally fine, I did feel like I had to bend my knee and lift my leg a bit higher initially to step in. probably just one of those things I would get used to really quick after a few weeks.

My laptop has a 250W adapter (the adapter is the size of an iPad mini almost) and generally refuses to hold a charge on anything less. Those 12V power ports can't supply that, generally.
My laptop has a 130 watt charger, it complains and refuses to charge on a standard USB-C connection.

Someone in another thread mentioned the same thing. Looking at those pics, it does look pretty deep to me. That will take some adjusting and my need to always have my cars clean and looking their best is going to go bonkers with people's shoe scuffs on that door sill

My son has a Subaru Impreza Sport, and every time I get into it I feel like I'm getting down to sit on the ground. I was a little concerned the Mach-E would feel a bit like that, but it really didn't at all.
Similar feeling here - my kid has a Mazda 3 sedan - not easy to get in and get out for me and sits low to the ground - cant see out the hood as I can in in the SUV ..it drives very well and handles much better on curvy roads than SUV and I realize its due to the lower center of gravity than my taller SUV. So really hoping the MME achieving the right balance.

my 2015 mustang has one there, too - and I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out in another thread a few months ago.
My 2010 Mustang has a Pony on there and not the blue oval. I'd get a picture but she is packed away hibernating for the winter. We're due for 5-7 inches of snow here in Minnesota today.
