You wouldn't extrapolate ICE mileage at only 600 miles, and these are pre production models being used for marketing purposes rather than regular driving.

Even so, if "real world" range is 265 against an EPA rating of 270, that would actually be remarkably good compared to what we're seeing with real world range tests.
Nah I’d totally extrapolate a gas car at 600miles.

276 is the 70mph range test of the Y before range increase last week, plus that’s not considering winter range advantage on heat pump. Just saying, we need every but we can get and that’s not flattering.

My husband set this all up..... So after you asked this, I asked my husband to show me the email confirmation. Guess who is now in the dog house! He said he could choose either 5 or 6... so he chose 6, but didn’t bother to read the confirmation saying the slot was 5-6. My disappointment and anger is directed to the wrong person/people! Lol.... lets see how long It will take him to get back into my good graces.
This is some real "married with children" shit right here. Peggy about to tang wang that ass.

Thank you for the laugh, and sorry there was a miss up. Can open a 6 pack reading forum post like this.

An offer of PPF and a ceramic coating on the car should work. ;)

I'm surprised by the seat adjustments, which model were these because Premium should have 8-way power seats. Curious what 8-way is if they don't tilt?
This confirms what i posted about the seat not tilting when I saw the IB premium in NJ. Surprisingly I didn't miss it, and it just seemed to work for me. Still though, I understand that may not be the case for everyone.

From car and driver.com:

ActiveX Bucket Seats -inc: 8-way power driver (fore/aft, up/down, power lumber, power recline) and 4-way manual front passenger (fore/aft w/manual recline)

The same Y that claimed 316 miles before the "range increase?" Because that's 87% of advertised range. If the MME is really getting getting 265 against 270 that's 98%. Personally I want my range estimates to be realistic and reliable, rather than math the car does to make me feel good. Darren Palmer and his team have repeatedly said that is their goal--that what you see is what you get, rather than going all-in on putting the biggest number on the window sticker.

Either way, I still wouldn't extrapolate because these units aren't doing anything like real world driving. Unless you plan to drive yours medium distances, then leave it on but plugged in for 8 hours while people paw at it, over consecutive days.

@dbsb3233 @ChasingCoral what do you think? This gives 265mi based on almost 600mi of trip data. Granted it’s got a lot of accessory and probably some stationary climate usage, but idk where it would have driven before arriving at RI based on prior trip stops and what those legs imply on the range. Can’t say the 3.0mi/kWh is encouraging though.
I wouldn’t trust info from these vehicles for range or efficiency estimates. Lots of on while stationary and limited, non-representative driving.

OK, this game appeals to the obsessive compulsive in me. Looks like a sturdy little beam there.

"that's a nice touring vehicle you have there - it would be a shame if anything were to happen to it"
"For a fee I would be happy to keep an eye on it to make sure nothing bad happened."
