Mach-E 18" fit on GTPE

I tried my mach E select 18" on my gtpe. There is 1mm free space Between the brakes and the wheel.

i think the gap it’s is really too small .

Yes, I agree the gap is too small. Might have some issues if any debris like little pebbles get in there.

Not to mention that there is now very little space for cooling. Those front rotors are best left inside wheels made for 20” or larger tires. ??

I would be just as concerned about the fact those winter tires dont have the right load rating

This. The X-Ice 225/60/18 do not have the XL rating. 225/55/18 does if you're looking to keep the 225 width. ?

I understand why you would choose that size, since it is closest to the OEM diameter (at least for me with 19" premium) but it lacks the proper weight rating.

This is why I went with 235/60/18 for my winter setup with X-Ice. -1.23% difference in diameter versus stock.

I did Vredestein Wintrac Pro 225/60/18 104v on my premium they are great. Rated #1 by Tire Rack and #2 by Consumer report.
