I just got back from a weekend trip to Roanoke to see my mom, and a few hours after returning, we were going out to a local brewery to get some hummus. As I was waiting for my wife to finish waking one of our dogs, I was playing around with the drive selector, testing putting the car into neutral for car wash use. Sometimes when I take it to the car wash, the kids can't get it into neutral. Anyway, as I was playing around, the ominous SVS message appeared.
Needless to say, I reacted totally rationally and remained calm as my wife got into the car with our dog so we could go drink some hummus. I mean eat. I said to her, "maybe we should take your car to the brewery because I just got this weird error." But she didn't seem worried and I decided to go ahead to the hummus place.
Before we started out I turned the car off and back on. No problem. I also noticed there were no huge number of grey power limiting bars on the display. I thought about the relationship ramifications if we got stranded and needed a tow from the brewery, but decided it was worth the risk.
When we were at the brewery and I was drinking my hummus, I checked the error in FP and became convinced this was just a weird error related to me playing around with the drive selector wheel. When we got back in the car, the SSN notice was gone and the car behaved normally.
So I think it am OK. No HVBJB failure yet.
And yes, I sort of pulled a @DevSecOps on you.
