I saw on another VVR that someone posted that there are 4 steps. Trim line is the final one, others are body, mechanical and something else. Now that it's in progress it should be done in a day or so if not already!

At the GM plant (I was in the IT department) I worked at there was body shop, paint, trim line, powertrain (it had some other name that escapes me) and the final line. I'm probably forgetting something too. Its been about 16 years since I worked there.

I think I crawled or shimmied into every last nook and cranny of that building while I was there. There were computers hidden in all kinds of places you'd never think of. Body shop and paint were (in my opinion) always the coolest part of the process. I had to don a tyvek "smurf suit" any time I had to go into a paint booth to work on the PCs that monitored the paint process.

Hahah. I actually drove a Ford Ranger when I worked there. Only GM product I've ever driven was the '77 C-10 that was my first vehicle when I turned 16. After a year or so I got my 1st Mustang, albeit a 1981 2.3L 4 banger. :D

I’m in batch 8300, still no modules 😒
Me, either. 😦 8300 batch. Mine supposedly hit the line on 9/22 (a day early) and is in body shop. Asked my sales guy to re-run the VVR tomorrow and send it to me since the tracking site isn't even showing my in production date.

Try calling into Ford (or chat if you can get it to work) and ask if they can tell you the current status. They can't see past status from what the lady said, but at least she could see more than we can on the site. At least it would be something!

My modules finally showed up - all 1030 of them. This is for batch 8267, originally scheduled to be built on 9/22.

Now what?

I seem to be just half-a-step behind you; I'll check for the activation button in the morning. You're in Austin, TX? I'm in Santa Cruz, CA.

Mine is showing built as of 9/23. Must have been after I went to bed...not that I have been checking that often. :D

Estimated delivery 10/28-11/3. If it makes that window it would have been 9 months from order to delivery.

Nothing in FordPass though.

Got an email today from Ford saying it’s built and reiterating the 10/9 to 10/15 ETA from the website.
