For me the frunk would only be used on trips for small bags. A cooler doesn't seem likely given that you'd have to stop to access it.
Same here. Access is just too inconvenient compared to the power, foot-activated liftgate (which we love in our Escapes). Manually pulling a lender and lifting a dirty hood is likely to happen about as rare as it does now in our Escapes to fill the wiper fluid.

Speaking of which, anyone check how easy it is to check and fill wiper fluid?

ditto on the rear view camera mirror, love that feature in the RAV4. Hopefully the rear view camera can stay persistently on in the center screen as a substitute.

Excited about the dimming side view mirrors if true!
Glad to see some confirmation of the side view mirror dimming. I saw it mentioned in the dealer eSourcebook but this is the only other mention of it that I have seen. So I wasn’t sure if it was listed in the book in error or not. The side view mirrors should dim in coordination with the rear view mirror.

I think the wiper fluid is readily accessible in the frunk - see the picture - its on the right side as you open the frunk (blue lid). I assume its easy to fill as well. I assumed it is the wiper fluid cap and the shape of the plastic container underneath too. Can see a few inches of the container at least when the frunk is open.

Yup - I specifically asked the Ford Rep and he said they were dimming with lot of confidence.

Had a chance see the Mach E today in person at the road show. They had a Infinite Blue and Rapid Red both Premium with ER, AWD. The IB had black Onyx interior and the Red had the lighter interior. Both were indoors , so hard to tell how the IB looks in sun light.

I showed up at 11.45 for 12 noon appointment and there were already a dozen folks or so waiting with the cars being shown by two Ford Reps. It was strictly interior touch only although I allowed my Rep to let me shut the frunk.

I got to spend about 20 mins in the Rapid Red. The Ford Rep mentioned that these are preproduction vehicles and hence he cant let me open the frunk panels that are closed not mess too much with the screen.

Given there are already lot of road show pictures and details various forum members, I will only share few thoughts and few pictures.

It's very convenient and the only fluid which is. As JellyBelly says, the wiper fluid reservoir pops up in the frunk.

They can't all be Jon Stewart. Sometimes they are Craig Kilborn.
Hey I was there too at noon - sorry I missed you guys. Here were my impressions....

1. Every bit a Mustang - really felt that when I sat in the drivers' seat. All displays very clear and legible. Went through tons of menus on the center screen - I really like the interface. The Ford rep there actually knew the car - he goes with the travelling show and was not a dealer guy. I asked if my thumbdrive full of tunes I use in my Escape would work in the MME. He said yes.

2. The car, and IB color, are beautiful from the outside. Very curvy and stylish. My wife thought the color had more purple that the photos.

3. While I loved the front and driver experience, I felt that much of the back was an afterthought. Cargo floor and cover seem thin and flimsy and the side cubbies in the back are cheap plastic.

4. The tailgate lifts pretty high - great for in and out but may hit my garage door. It is adjustable though.

5. The sound system sounded good on Sirius but not great. Bass was distorted.

6. All camera views very crisp and clear with no delay.

Happy with more order - want it now!

I really hope this is true. I have incredibly sensitive night vision and being blinded by trucks LED headlights is the worst.

I assume it's the same as our Escapes. Easy to adjust the range limit of the tailgate. We've never needed to, but I remember testing it when we bought the car.

It in one of the pictures above with the steering wheel - shows 38% with 99 miles - that comes to roughly 260 miles. I could not see any other statistics on the larger pad that showed battery related info
IMO if they have driven the car, they have try the acceleration more then you would usually do because they want to show how fast it is so I’m guessing it will have a bit more then 270 :)

Did anyone measure how much cocktail sauce the reservoir will hold?
