Please post pictures of the screen user interface, we are dying to know what the new version actually looks like on a production car.

We also want to know how lane changes work with BlueCruise 1.2.

How did the financing and converted order incentive work out? Did they honor the interest rate and/or any incentives from your original order date?

Have you had a chance to try out BlueCruise Hands-free with lane changes?

I did today and it was awesome in light traffic. Bump the turn signal and it keeps blinking while the car changes lanes for you with some graphics on the instrument cluster showing what it's doing. It will also suggest changing lanes to pass a slower car in front of you in the current lane.

That said, in moderate traffic yesterday with hands on BlueCruise, it was very conservative. Several times it delayed changing lanes to let an approaching car pass even though there was plenty of time and space available. So there are reasonable limitations and I will probably manually override it in anything more then light traffic.

Very cool. Glad you guys got the new features. Hope they flow down to the 21's and 22's!

Same, it would be a shame if older cars don't get the upgrade. I know Ford doesn't have a great track record with updates but hopefully that will keep getting better.

Also I should mention that the actual lane change motion was a little deliberate but also very smooth. I think they did a good job on that part.

And what have you noticed about lane position? The old version likes to drift to the right when you're in the left lane so you come close to semis. New version is supposed to stay centered better or move over slightly? Thanks for the feedback since we can't test the new version.

The lane position did move to the left of the lane when passing a semi, at least when I was in the left lane. I'm not sure what it will do yet if I'm in the center lane passing a semi while other cars are in the left lane passing me. The instrument cluster graphic actually shows the car's position in the lane move over to the left when it engages.

It also seems to be primarily (or only?) when passing semi's. I didn't notice any difference around normal cars/pickups.

Anyone with a 22-23 convert from select to premium/AWD/ext range? Curious about your private offer…

I heard conflicting things here. I saw with my own eyes the private offer amounts on the screen at the dealer and it was -$8,500 on the extended range (not sure if that was CA Rt1 or Premium AWD ER), BUT it might be based on your 2022 order, so if you got a select on your '22 order you might only be given a Ford Private Offer of $3k to offset the difference between '22 Select and '23 Select. One could argue that a Select with Comfort/Tech should allow a Private Offer to get you into a model with heated seats, which would warrant more than a $3k P.O. but you're ultimately at the whim of what Ford will extend to you. If you have a $3k you get a $3k, I doubt you have room to argue that one.

PS: the Private Offer is already with the dealer without you doing anything except maybe calling the dealer before showing up to confirm they have your private offer redemption code.

Edit: while the dealer showed me all the possible private offers, and my exact private offer with my code to redeem didn't have a dollar amount, he pointed to the Select on the screen, so idk maybe the dealer can simply select "CA Rt1 Private Offer" and put in my code to get the -$8.5k, not sure, but I'm happy with my -$3k on a Select AWD.

That's interesting. It would be nice to know what the algorithm factors in, whether it is size of vehicle or its proximity to the lane markings next to you, or some blend of the two?
