For anyone that has the new layout, I'd be curious to see if Song Title and Artist are displayed in the small tile now (for radio/SXM) while a song is actually playing? The OP's video does show what looks like might be current content but it looked like maybe commercials were playing at the time. Couldn't tell for sure if that's what the the small tile was showing.

Are your wheels powdercoated? How did you do that around that mustang logo and not the whole circle? That looks really good and I was debating how to do it best and if to replace the lug nuts with black ones or not.

I think so. Here was someone's pic 7 pages back with the new small tiles. The 2 lines on the Trip Meter tile seem legible. Looks like this could fit easily and be legible:

39 38
39 41

Or even...

Front: 39 38
Rear: 39 41

Ok, I guess you could get tire icons and units in there and keep it legible.

I don't understand why they still are doing seat heaters they way they are. Why not just make it a tap to increase/shut off instead of tapping, then adjusting from there? It's so much more intuitive to give it a couple taps to make it hotter/turn off than tap, turn knob. (although I much prefer the new version with turning the knob as I hate the slider they use currently, way too wonky)

Yeah, tap and twist is at least a step in the right direction. People are really used to the 1, 2, 3, Off from physical buttons in other cars, and they want to replicate that, but tap and twist might be just as good if not better. We’ll see.

I was on a discover your Ford call for the Mach E and the Bluetooth kept dropping out. Also my Nov 14th delivered 2022 MME is still stuck with Sync Oct update 3.5.4

The Ford dyf member recommended that I take it in for service and get the sw updated. Will know this Wednesday

I haven’t needed a camera to park in my 40 years of driving. I just look in front of me. Why take your eyes off of the road?
The front camera operates only at slow speeds (less than 5 mph?) and is useful when pulling out of a building or alley with limited lateral sight lines. The 360 cameras are especially helpful in lining up straight and centered between the lines of a narrow parking space.

I'm sure Ford has data from our cars stating what screens people stay on and how they're configured... including the tiles. I can tell you that I rock small tiles, keep CarPlay in large mode, hate that there is no camera icon up top, despise the convoluted "settings" structure, and hate that 3 rows of radio presets don't fit nicely in the current version of SYNC. Also think that "Engaged" and "Unbridled" never made sense. Seems like they took care of all those things with the update so looking forward to it. Personally, I'd like to see them rework the instrument cluster (or allow customization) to include vital information. Tire pressure should go THERE vs the center screen.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Happy accident at Ford service! I got the new updated SYNC 4A installed!! Non Early-Access 20210310_111735

That looks like the Nite Pony package. Regular GT-PE cars have silver center caps and machined faces on the wheel spokes. 😊🐩

The problem with the tap and twist is I still need to visually confirm that it is set to what I want, the good thing about it is I generally have them on max, or off, so I can just turn it all the way right or left and be done with it. The main issue with the current setup is it is just so easy to not end up where you want it and you end up spending too much time looking at it rather than the road.

Minor things, but seem like such easy fixes.

I would highly recommend going to a tire shop and having them fill your tires with nitrous. The nitrous takes much of the tire pressure variability out of the equation as temperatures do not affect nitrogen nearly as much oxygen.
I thought you were making a joke about NOS. But now I see you're talking about nitrogen, in which case, you're incorrect. Tire shops may tell you that, but the ideal gas law doesn't agree. The regular old free air that you put in tires is only 21% oxygen. You know what almost all of the rest of it is? 78% of it is nitrogen. But you won't get that pretty green cap.

Yes, sorry, nitrogen. I get very little pressure fluctuation using it. Seems to work great for me.

Short of adding a physical switch, I don't think there is any way to not require looking to see what level you've set it to

You would have the same level of temperature induced pressure fluctuation with regular air.
Do you continue to be perplexed by how shops can swindle people into paying extra for BS? LOL
