As for frunk release issues; we will all be invited to Ford's headquarters and gathered in one room. Jim Farley will walk in, hold up a little silver item and tell us all to look at the little red light.

I’m in the same place. I got my car in early November. I had a bunch of updates, then everything went quiet. Im guessing ford just hasn’t pushed us the next round of updates yet.
Same as you two…Early Oct delivery, handful of updates immediately, then stuck on 3.5.4 since 10/25.

Picked it up on October 18th of this year. I have had 3 updates since in a three day spert a couple weeks ago.
The fact that we all stopped on the same update tells me we are not “stuck”. Ford just hasn’t pushed the next round of updates to us yet. They seem to happen in bursts and I think have paused around the holidays, if I’m remembering last year correctly.

We’ll see what happens in January.

So did your Sync version change as a result of this PU?

When I did the updates via FDRS mine went from 539 to 610 then gateway then 640 (which is the new interface) then another gateway.

1) Yes, but every SW company on the planet releases software with bugs despite the size of the company and the diligence and extent of their testing.
2)Most phone, OS updates, TV patches, etc. are pushed out in waves, not in a single drop as being advocated.

I'm not arguing one way or the other that the testing being done by Ford is adequate, but if you think it is not, dropping an update globally is not what you should be wanting.
Most companies don't push software updates out during the Holidays because of lack of staffing so likely we won't get these updates until after New Year.

So I have never witnessed an OTA update, and am not sure what version I am on. Where would I find this info? And what is the current version? My car says everything is up to date.

Also Calgary here ✋
Alright! There must be dozens of us! Dozens, I say!

Welcome! We might need to do some sort of Calgary meet-up. When it's not -40, my range is only 200Km @85%, and the "high" temp setting still blows cold air...

Just got 4.1.1, but this does not include the sync updates, just the details that others have posted in screen shots.

Yup, and the only place I ever use a “button” to open my frunk is in the FordPass app. When I am in the car, it just seems easier to use the mechanical release than to dig through menus to push the button on the screen. Maybe I am old. 🤪🐩

So, Ford needs to not only update the software in. The cars, but also their FP server back-end so that it recognizes that the SW and HW are present and displays the button for 2021 Job1 cars. Pretty lame to have the SW available (even if only through FDRS) and not have their servers recognize it. 🤔🐩
Yet one more lame thing in the Ford SW Experience. The list is sooooooo long.
