Yeah, I imagine that is a possibility too.

In any case, I registered for 3 of the Colorado dates. I'll have to wear a different Mach-E shirt for each day. Hahaha
I just reserved the 9th. Did you find that Colorado is missing from their dropdown state list in the registration? That was weird. I just selected Wyoming as next closest.

Yeah, Colorado was missing. I looked for a "Contact Us" to let them know but there wasn't one.

Just a heads-up. The east coast Tour stops had the same information and said there would be no rides. You might get lucky, though, and have someone from Ford there with a drivable demo car.

It is almost getting to the point that we can start hoping for some test drive cars to show up at dealers around the same time.

And a funny thing I just noticed. I already requested those days off a long time ago. I'm trying to burn excess vacation days before the end of the year. I put in for December 9-11 just as a random set of days that both my wife and I could take off. Maybe the universe knew. If so, maybe I need to request some days off at the end of January when I'm hoping the Mach-E will arrive.

Not sure whether I'll make a reservation, or just show up. Don't really want a sales pitch, just a look and a sit in it.
Visited 3 Mach E events around my area - not once there was any sales talk. Only asked if you registered (and I was), confirm the reservation and then you just talk and ask questions from Ford team people, not guys from the dealership.

I have my doubts about whether demos will show up as soon as many dealers are saying. Although at least December is within reach. Some were talking weeks earlier than that.

I guess the cold hard truth is that Ford has decided that folks in "fly over" country are out of luck and they don't deserve to attend these events. They must have looked at the sales numbers and decided just the coasts are eligible to see the new Mustang.

I think this really stinks!?

As a fellow flyover resident, I suspect this is a thing you're used to in life. It's a thing I'm used to. I don't like it, but I'm used to it.

Hey they don't even have any road shows near their hometown of Dearborn, Michigan.

True! Sure wasn’t this way back in 2002 when Ford came out with the retro Thunderbird. They celebrated their 100th Year and really emphasized our cars. My wife and I took 2 tours of the Wixom Assembly Plant (one individual tour with just my wife and me). We also had a great tour of the Lima Ohio Plant where Ford made the small V-8’s for our cars. Our ThunderbirdNest.com Club held “Motown Thunder” there and once again Ford showed us a good time. My how things have changed with the new Mustang. :(

See my post about our Thunderbirds; no, I’m not used to this treatment by Ford and one would think they WOULD have showings in the Midwest too!

I've gotta say, you are taking this awfully personally all things considered. 2 Cars were at the Chicago auto show (they rerouted the one that was to be in Philly so Chicago could have 2). There were other auto shows in the midwest before Covid cancelled NYC and others. So one might say you actually had an opportunity to see it 8 months before this road show.
