Hi guys!

Can't wait to tell you all about driving the Mustang Mach-E. Here's what I can say... I got to skip the little 4 hour silly press event and just take a car for the full day to do whatever I wanted to with it. Most of you probably have no idea who I am, but I love to get into the nitty gritty of EV (and admittedly, ICE) powertrains... So expect a lot of the nerdy stuff from me! I was able to perform a DC charging test, gauge performance driving characteristics, city driving characteristics, ADAS functionality, and much much more. As you've heard, the embargo lifts on December 15 so that's when you'll get a wave of content across my channels, and I'm sure everyone else's, about Mustang Mach-E. I specifically asked for a Grabber Blue example (extended range / dual motor) which stood out strong against the grey snowy/rainy skies of Detroit. We shot a full gallery of stills, which I can share soon - and before the embargo lifts!

Smoke generators rely upon the hot exhaust from the engine to burn the smoke oil (Corvus oil or other similar oils) and create the billows of smoke for coal rolling a big Dodge ram ... err, I mean for skywriting and aerobatics. The lack of hot exhaust on the MME is going to present a problem. ;)
But is there not smoke generator use on shooting plateau or theater scenes or for special FX?

GM made an attempt a decade and a half ago, but they were too early. Remember all the press about their "big investment!" into EVs around 2005, and how the Volt was supposed to start an EV revolution? Well, it never made it past niche, simply because battery technology hadn't advanced enough yet.

It's always been all about the batteries. The rest is easy. Electric motors have been perfected for decades. So has the rest of the car. Software is easy (just gotta throw enough money at it). The hingepin has always been the batteries. And they've only started getting good enough in the last few years (although they still have a long way to go to get deep into the vehicle market).
I remember President Obama touting a Chevy Volt as the future. He specifically said he wanted one after he left office. I know for a fact he has never stepped foot inside a Volt after that press event.

Unless he decides he no longer wants Secret Service protection, he won't be driving a thing -- green or otherwise.

Like so many things, if the Mustang doesnā€™t evolve it will just become history. Loved my 67, looking forward to a 21.
Loved our 1965 Mustang. 56 years later, the Mustang Mach-E is better than ever!
