I read that Ford will provide a NACS adapter for all Mache owners. Is this true and when will Ford start shipping adapters to Mache owners?

"Provide" may or may not include a cost, and 2024 is as close to a date as I have heard.

Also, keep in mind the Ford arrangement is only for the latest version of supercharger. The adapter (that you can’t acquire until sometime in 2024) will only work at the newest Tesla chargers. All the old chargers will still be T models only. Depending on where you plan to charge, this may be a big issue or non issue for you.

Well, that sucks. Aren’t almost all super chargers the “old” ones? And don’t all the new ones have magicdocks anyway?

Has this been stated by Ford or Tesla? Do you have a link?

There are thousands of V3 units. They’re also not installing any more V2 units. Plus the magicdock is only on a literal handful of units nationwide. Thus you’ll need your adapter so that you too can wait in line at a supercharger station near you. Along with all the brand T, Ford snd GM cars. ;)

Keep in mind that even a millennia is comprised of weeks (52,178 weeks plus 4 days of them)...

There is a large thread speculating on this. Most expect 2024 and there is no certainty they will be provided to all Mach e owners. Made available for a cost perhaps but also may be provided - I have not read anything definitive at this time.

How do you know which are V3 and which are V2? For example, on the PA Turnpike and I-95 between Philadelphia and Baltimore, they’ve had Tesla chargers for years (the super ones, not destination ones)

Not knowledgeable about Tesla SuperChargers, but why do we care? All that matters to us is - which Tesla SuperChargers are we able to charge at?

Answer - those with CCS capability, which currently is via Magic Dock.

Open PlugShare. Change plug to CCS. Turn off all networks except Tesla SuperCharger. What it then shows are the places you can charge. Today that's 11 locations, in NY and CA.

Ford Mustang Mach-E NACS adapter coming when? tesla NY and CA.PNG

V3 chargers are 250 kW chargers. Filter for supercharger only and 200+ kW.

It’s all meaningless atm anyway Jim. None of this is happening until next spring at the earliest. There are a lot of things that need to happen first. Tesla needs to develop the adapter for Ford, they need to update software for their supercharger system. They need to update their app software. Ford needs to update software as well, likely including FordPass and perhaps an OTA update might be required.

Don’t sweat on how to find v3 chargers until then.

Lol, I’m not sweating. I never use public chargers (I have only been on a couple of “road trips” and the only chargers available were pathetically slow L2 chargers).
