Mine stopped at 4.2.2.2.

I'm also enjoying the car, but have experienced a couple of issues. I've had trouble with phone calls unless it's through Android auto. Even then, I've had some crackling audio quality.

I don't like how the home screen just shows the available apps. The home screen on my wife's BMW X3 hybrid shows current nav, music selected, and connected phones, all on a much smaller display. I would like to be able to have a split screen between the nav display and the media that is playing. I can do that in Android auto, but not when using the in-built nav.

With texts, I get a beep when one comes in, but don't seem to have a way to access it through the car's system. In Android auto, I can have it read out, and I can reply by voice.

There's a distinct whistling noise from the car at about 30-35 mph.

I had some crackling the first week but have not had it since.

One issue I’ve had with AA is sometimes not hearing the person I call. They can hear me, though.

I have the same experience with texts. I’m fine with the apps display.

I also hear what you call a whistling noise at low speeds. I chalk that up to how an electric car sounds. Doesn’t bother me at all.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm glad you confirmed the whistling sound. It's so distinct and occurs only in that small specific speed range that I was concerned it might be a bearing or something.

I’d call it more of a whine, but I know what you’re talking about.

Same with mine indeed. Seems to be a feature of the car
And yes, it would be nice if below the nav screen, we'd also have the radio screen.
As for the OTA updates, don't think we get those in Europe.
But overall, very impressed with the car. I absolutely love it.

Absolutely love the looks and the drive.

Not sure what part of Belgium you’re from, but “Musty” as a name for a car doesn’t work in English. Depending on where you live, in English it means “muf” or “moisi” or “muffig” ? I can understand how you arrived at that name, though. ?

I have to say how impressed I am with Ford Motor Co. I have owned many new vehicles over the years and never once have I been contacted by a vehicle manufacturer over an issue I posted on a forum. Thank you Ford for reaching out to me over what I consider a very minor issue that might not even be the fault of the vehicle. I realize it could be my phone or even service e provider.

My Mach-E waited for me! I love that my salesman, who has sold several other Mach-E's over the past 2 months, was able to lightly nudge buyers to other cars; someone else bought the carbonized gray CR-1 out of the showroom instead of my grabber blue one, so he parked mine in the showroom until I could come buy it. Had to wait for arbitration to determine if my bZ4X was a lemon because of its inability to drive more than 400-500 miles a day without throttling fast charging (it's not a lemon), and decide if I could afford the financial hit in trading in an 8 month old car (totally worth it for the peace of mind of knowing I can get to my elderly parents 850 miles away).

Also. Name... Mochi? Canary? Mezcal? Maiz-e? Decisions...

Just curious,. Periodically A message comes up that says "Drive mode not available". When I go to settings, all 3 drive modes are not selectable and the picture of the car is black with only the day time running lamps showing. Curious is anyone else has seen this?

Yes, a few times. It went away each time when I restarted the car. The last time, though, it resolved itself before I could restart it.I've seen other people mention this but never as a severe issue. I think I had the car for more than a month before it happened the first time. Software glich?
