Let’s make an overview of information on reservations and orders in Europe. I have started to do so mainly based on the information on this forum and googling a bit.

At the Go Electric event in Hamburg a Ford representive was interviewed (10 October 2020) who confirmed that there are 8000 reservations in Europe.
https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/some-info-for-ford-europe.1620/#post-42798

These reservations are mainly from Norway, the Netherlands, UK, Germany, France and Switzerland. Until now you could only make an online reservation in these 6 countries. But apparently there are some FE reservations in other countries as well.

Whether it is in 2 days or 2 weeks, we are close to the next milestone: converting our reservations into orders. Norway already did last summer (and they were given a month to do so). Some have heard the date of 15 December from dealers. In one of his posts today, Trutolife27 mentioned 15 December as well, so there is definitely something going to happen that day…

Other European countries will be served later. I receive more or less the same e-mails from Ford Nederland and from Ford Belgium (as I went to the Autosalon in Brussels in January). While Ford Nederland writes about the arrival of my Mustang Mach E begin 2021, Ford Belgium writes that the new Mustang Mach E will be launched begin 2021 and will be available mid 2021.

I checked Ford websites of different other European countries a week ago. You can make your configuration choices but at the end there is just a button ‘keep me informed’ in various languages. Anyway, I didn’t check if these words are outdated already: they are planning to open the orderbooks in other European countries very soon.

Last week the Grande New Jersey arrived in Antwerpen from Veracruz / Altamira. Last Friday Ford Norway posted pictures on facebook of the arrival of 17 Mach E’s, going to dealers all over Norway for testdrives. I assume the same happens in other countries and Ford employees can get to know the car in the next weeks before customers get their cars delivered.

Grimaldi has a frequent service between Veracruz / Altamira and Antwerpen, with stops in a number of NA ports as well. The link to check their schedule has been posted before:
https://www.net.grimaldi.co.uk/GNET45/Pages_ScheduleInfo/WFSchedule

For the NA readers with an early build date: the website also has a VIN tracker (I guess you can check if your car is on board).

Numbers by country are hard to find.

I had the opportunity to see the Mach E in Amerongen at 17 January 2020 and I made my reservation the same day. At that moment, there were just 500 Mach E’s allocated to the Netherlands but Ford Nederland was already lobbying for more, so later on they got 2000 Mach E’s. According to several magazines, there were 1800 Dutch reservations by the end of September.

For the rest, I only found numbers from Finland. 2 different Finnish websites state that there are 80 reservations in Finland for the already sold out First Edition, out of 5000 FE’s in total (so that’s the worldwide number of FE’s?). To be delivered to Finnish customers in early spring, according to both websites. This is all under the assumption that Google Translate worked well. Google translated a Finnish description of the Mach E into Dutch as follows: “een redelijk bekwame elektrische auto”.
Feel free to read it yourself at iltalehti.fi (30 November 2020) or tekniikanmaailma.fi (27 November 2020).

Oh, a number from Sweden as well. Two weeks ago several Swedish websites wrote that Ford Sweden expects to sell about 3000 Mach E’s in 2021. According to nyteknik.se (30 November 2020) Swedish customers who order a Mach E now will get their car delivered in May.

European Mach E’s are built already, mixed with building NA cars. Both left hand drive as right hand drive cars. Dealers can see build dates in their systems and have communicated these build dates to some members of this forum in UK, The Netherlands, France and Switzerland.

As a reference:
Model Y’s for the European market won’t be build before next summer. Last October a Tesla dealer told me the European Model Y’s might be built in the new factory in Berlin (I’m not sure if they have the building permit for that factory yet).

But the big question for all of us:
When will I get MY car?

That’s a good cliffhanger….

(there are quite some new posts on the uncertainties and challenges in logistics Ford is facing, which we - needless to say - all understand)

I ordered in Feb 2020, but my dealer is testing my patience by informing me as less as possible.
And when I ask them, they just don't know or will get back... Annoying guys, but fingers crossed for a Feb delivery ;)

In Norway the confirmation of a reservation to an order opened up on 17 Sept with a 30 day deadline to complete the reservation (19 Nov).
After that it has been dead silence from Ford in Norway with respect to customer follow up until yesterday when an e-mail was sent out to several customers that "your Mustang Mach-e is ready for production" without any more specific details.

Update Dec 11:
Maybe a handful will be delivered to high profile customers in Norway late February, but estimated delivery time for a First Edition to Norway for "1st day reservation holder (Nov 18th 2019)" is "from 22-24 weeks" counting from Dec 11th.

I have some up-to-date numbers for Finland to share. I spoke with my dealer last week and they confirmed the following:
- 80First Editions
- 60 demo cars for dealers and for Ford staff
- 130-150 orders of non-FE models

First deliveries should take place around May/June with ~130-160cars

Let's hope, because i got an email from Ford Belgium stating ' Orders for the MME are currently still being processed internally', whatever that means, but i assume since i didn't get any update/orderno/buildno regarding mine, they just process the order requests, but don't send the order to the Cuautitlan Plant

It seems like Ireland still didn't open orders for Mach E and it is really late already. Not sure what is going on. UK is selling them already for a while.
